" Ohhh jelly ? You come to an already released game .... that people enjoy and play for long time ..... you don't like something ..... you DEMAND that the game is changed according to YOUR liking and screw all the rest .... D2 the most successful game in this genre ever made ...... used this system ...... it was released June 29, 2000 and its still very much alive in 2015. So who is the WANNABE here? Life of a "casual" gamer : Step 1 : Find hardcore game like POE Step 2 : Fail at it Step 3 : Bitch to the world that its too hard Step 4 : Move to a new game after this one is ruined IGN : xXxNocturnexXx Last edited by Ecofatalis#6179 on Jul 23, 2015, 2:16:50 PM

" Online ARPGs are mostly economic games, thats first. Second, from what i have just read, your biggest issue with trading is that u dont know how to decide on the price of item. There is no solution to that, unless you want to trade with vendors. If you want to trade with other players, you have to put some effort into it, and learn a bit about prices. No way around it. Third, we have two great tools, that turn trading into almost passive experience (doesnt rly matter that its a third party soft). If you are too lazy to use it, dont complain. If its too coplicated for u to use it... Well, i have already given u a suggestion. And it wasnt insulting, just honest. Last edited by Zenhayaraxermaar#7506 on Jul 23, 2015, 2:17:23 PM

" Its this F***ing Facebook generation we have now ...... Get something through your head !!! YOU have difficulty lvls in this game ..... you can play in a kitty pool with your random rares but if you wane play THE F**** END GAME aka play with the big boys and have their results then prepare to invest as much time and effort as they did !! Don't expect ignoring 50% of this game (trading) and running ELITE content ..... People don't understand that the reason its hard to make a living in POE are the CHANCERS !!! Uniques lose their value ...... so a random person who spends hours to get a lucky Unique drop can't profit on it because the market is spammed with Uniques . All the dirt cheap but GOOD uniques you see people spam in chat all day .... all because of Chancers .... IGN : xXxNocturnexXx Last edited by Ecofatalis#6179 on Jul 23, 2015, 2:42:56 PM

You really don't know how to read, I said I knew about the sites. I could set them up, my point is I shouldn't have to! Even the accursed auction house on D3 was in-game (sure you could go offgame to buy cash on other sites), but at least you didn't have to alt tab constantly and stop playing the game because you had to set up other websites. And yes I know about the procurement program aswell, but it's just more of the same, in essence it says stop playing the game. But I'll stop arguing now, it's not gonna change anything and I got my grievances out and found some sympathetic and likeminded folks. Thx for the responses. (even the 'honest' ones, after all it took effort to do) :) Last edited by xatharas#2029 on Jul 23, 2015, 2:41:21 PM

I've played this game for about 3 months now and it took me about 2 hours after reaching maps with my first character to realize that trading would be extremely important for my end game.
So I spent about 30 minutes watching a youtube video and setting up the Procurement app, and now my gear sells like crazy. If you think it's complicated you simply haven't tried, friend. Every Saturday = National Booze n Poe Day

" LOL, I have facebook because people asked me to make an account, so I did, I hardly ever use it! It's people like you that make players leave, instead of being helpfull, you act like an a*****e and think you're the almighty in this game. Anywho enjoy being rude I'm out (of this thread, not the game offcourse) Last edited by xatharas#2029 on Jul 23, 2015, 2:46:30 PM

" Yeah, devaluation of items/currency in D3 was fantastic. If you honestly think explaining the fundamental flaws of an AH system = being a "wannabe economy expert" then there's honestly nothing else to say to you. Just know that an AH wouldn't fix your problems in the slightest and you'd be back here complaining that none of your shit ever sells, and the stuff that actually does sells for less than a chaos. |

The same players that argue for a convenient way to trade stuff will complain that nothing sells once it is implemented. They simply do not understand that trading has to have a certain level of inconvenience since a transparent and convenient market will reduce the value of all but the rarest items to almost 0.

" Nailed it. A system like the Diablo 3 auction house seems convenient but really it just shifts the minimum quality of sellable gear higher. The stuff that people are managing to sell for 1c now becomes worth an alteration, or worse. And now you have people cruising through the early stages of their gearing process (which is arguably the more fun aspect) and then getting completely gridlocked in the middle since that's where everyone ends up until they find an item worth an exalt or more. Current system allows you to build your wealth up off mediocre drops until you can afford that one big item that you really want or need. An auction house would prevent this pattern and those mediocre items would instead go to vendors for alteration shards.
