CI is fine, you just have to play dual flame totem and you can be anything you want!

A friend just respecced into ES, and i discussed it with him and did the usual pro vs con thing.
It then struck me that since the life leech has been nerfed, people are forced to rely on their flasks more often (probably intentional, as more flasks were a bit "forgotten" before). CI users utilizing the ghost reaver node cannot rely on flasks, however. I fail to realize what they were given as an alternative to the flasks after the nerf to life leech.

Sure, it is. But look at the gear.
Also, it is THE ONLY thing you can do with CI.

+ to the OP, because CI is really in very bad place now.

And whats the alternative for those who don't have a 6L chest piece with over 900 ES and 1300 exalted orbs in their accounts ?

I can obviously see that you forgot to consider the other 99% of the player base, but don't worry, we're all humans !

I am so glad that we have made GR not work with CI, it never should have.

Now CI is like what it used to be. High buffer. Burst things down. Get out if its getting bad.

Run a flask of dousing, and staunching. Shit gets hot, smash all flasks at once, and use your flame dash/leap slam escape mechanism away from danger.

Stack faster start of ES recharge, I think I only have like 40% and (since I do cold damage), my regen starts before I get hit a second time. Example of those big boulders, they hit me, I take damage, then my es recharges before they hit me again.




Maybe you are just doing ES wrong. Trying to look at it like life, with 'should be sustained by life leech/regen/potions'. ES is not blue life.

Well evry build need defences evasion/block/dodge and mitigation as armor, endurance charges, fortify, AA,LC and so on.

Evry build need some form of recharging and ES have it by default and ther is ZO, Aegis Aurora, Leech.

What you expiriancing is single target leech problems and traying to face tank whit no damage mitigation, here is a news it wont worck even if you are Life build whit 1000 HP/s.


But the best part is you need multiple defences and mitigation and then some no mather ES or Life. So use sumons use curse use all, ther is no room for Cwdt/ImC and one buton spam skill.

What Es dont have is flask, i play life build, hardly even use a flask, you got Vaal Discipline, so its not so hard gess.

Pure ES and one spam skill builds wont worck, invest loot in defences and finde a party to tank or get even more defences.

As i seen recent Ghudda Flask build, i cant realy say caster and ES/CI build are in problems..
