The UI suck ass.
Sometime ESC is for exit the UI, sometime it s TAB. Sometime the mouse is used to move right-left, sometime the arrow keys... WTF. Ho yea the Fallout mod creator is supposed to come only in 2016....SO they can export it to consoles. Pretty damn fun so far, feels so daunting though. Not sure i'm in the mood to take the full plunge just yet.

Kinda sad you get the power armor so early in the game but it seems balanced if the fusion cores stay relatively rare. I'm saving it for later in the game because this early it is super overpowered and I don't want to waste fuel. But knowing myself I will probably finish the game before using it once lel.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

It doesn't feel like Fallout to me. Dialogue is seriously dumbed down and it feels consolised from the start. The Perk/SPECIAL window makes me want to bash my face on the desk. Power armour is cool but damn finding it so soon and then just happening to have a raider and deathclaw fight in the first town I visit is a bit forced. Somehow I found a minigun, fatboy and power armour BEFORE finding any of the mid tier weapons and am currently using a pipe sniper rifle/10mm. It all feels disjointed to me.
Lastly I fucking hate my character talking to himself. If GGG chickens made an action RPG, what would it be called? Path of Eggxile, a Peck 'n' Slash RPG.

This game is throwing all of the Fallout tropes at me out of the gate, but the actual Fallout is nowhere to be found. Admittedly I'm not that far in but I really hope it becomes Fallout soon.
If not, I guess I'll just wait for Obsidian to take this engine and make an actual RPG with it. That or finally get around to playing Wasteland 2. Gameplay & Level Design

I'm finding it a little buggy to get working, no fullscreen, having to tweak the ini files to change graphics settings, and needing to run it on 30fps to keep heat down :(
I should have waited for a couple of weeks, but I really needed a break from POE and the forums... alas. == Officially Retired 27/02/2019 ==

So true lel. After 7 years the "quirks" are becoming rather annoying though. At least it still has its main strength, I really enjoy exploring the world :) Apparently there's no way to craft ammunition and I'm always really low on it... GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
