Arua combos that should not be!
Casual ?? Hardcore ?? For me those gamers dont exist ,there are only no-lifers that spend 24/7 on game and gamers that play time to time.
They all are gamers ,you play the game to have fun also accept the challange in it with is in this sutiation fighting strong opponents. Games are somewhat sport ,you need to improve ,you need to finish challanges in it. If you dont like it ,dont say that you are gamer ,just go read book if you wanna adventure while sleeping :P Last edited by herflik#4390 on Feb 13, 2012, 10:42:05 AM

I think I'm fine with seeing really hard mobs, The amount of skill stacks a mob can have singularly, should be determined by their Monster type (rare, unique, etc.), I believe this is what the developers have done. If not it will most likely be implemented.
As long as I don't see a Nightmare mode LEFE (Lightning Enchanted, Fire Enchanted) Lister the Tormenter, I'll be good to go ;) |

I agree that the auras are not overpowered. Strong monsters present a challenge which is nice time to time.
But there needs to be a larger reward, not a 'Well I should have just ran past him'. People should be rewarded for overcoming a challenge, that is all. |

Having not yet played POE due to no beta key, I can offer only a few thoughts on stacked auras and strong mobs.
Namely, being in a fight that is very challenging, requiring me to keep my wits about me, is far better than one that is not, though, being beaten too often can bring down the fun a bit. I do agree with having a larger reward along with a greater challenge, so it's not "I fought a multi-aura mob and all I got was this hessian tunic" xD Hope I get a beta key before open beta so I can find out what those unidentified items I have are xD

The mods can stack to harder, but its not like D2 with combos that one shot kill you. I like dangerous mobs, mobs where the goal is to survive contact and get away even as opposed to always fight.
What kind of game would have you march through and whack everything, its a game not equipment testing.

I think these potential challenges add a lot to the fun of the game.
I enjoy the challenge, but wouldn't be against them giving better rewards. The game wouldn't be any fun if it was all easy bosses. |

I think it's great having random mobs that present a challenge, it keeps you on your toes and teaches you not to expect to just steam roll everything you come across, However I do agree somewhat with the auras that stack and make that mob almost impossible to kill, however it does make it more satisfying when you do, although i agree they should give you some type of reward or something else that benefits you. As for som1 saying some of these mobs are stronger than bosses, yea that is true in some cases, but I think that makes for a good time when your out just questing and a bad ass mob comes up and presents a good challenge, makes the game worth wild.
I do think some buffs should either be nerfed or changed in some aspects, as I've encountered a mob before that was literally almost impossible to beat cause he would heal faster than we could damage him. But other than that I love the challenge! And I for one even think some of the bosses should be stronger to make more longer, and intense fights. However that is just my opinion! |

I think it would be fine in a couple situations:
- during team play, in which you could crack the sucker through having a team with enough strategical range to defeat it instead of getting screwed over if you aren't built correctly - special zones in which you expect this kind of thing to happen at any given moment it's not clear at the moment if fighting these things should be expected of some random person, and there could be situations in which they were not capable of actually escaping making a player stop dead in their progression because of something they were not technically responsible for isn't a good decision |

ya, i don't really understand the complaint here.. you died too quickly? it wuz 2 hard? are you serious? so you just want to play ann interactive movie basicly where you never die or use any resources?
i love mini bosses and random events that occur in the game world it deepens evermore the sense of adventure that encompasses PoE Keep up the great work!=] No Hope = No Vision
