All Divination Card creation ideas welcome! :D
" According to the submission guidelines, you are not allowed to specify level and quality of a gem at the same time. So 21/20 is impossible. But 4/0 empowers are fine, and 1/23 [any gem] is also fine. This leads me to believe that many more support gems will be selected than skill gems (because most skill gems want 21/20). |

" But whats the point getting empo then with cards instead of leveling it or buying it directly from a player ? Just for the sake of having more options how to obtain items ? Lets say you make a divination card for a unique which normally is priced at 100 exalted orbs. Your card will be 4/4 so every piece of the card will be sold for 25 exalted separately by players. Someone here said that he would like to see a card which can be exchanged for a stack of chance orbs. What will be the price of this card ? I think it will be exactly 20 chance orbs or equivalent. Whats the point I am asking again ? Sorry but I am just trying to understand what are these cards for and why are they implemented in the 1st place. |

I know its not really "original", but I really would like to see a Headhunter Card being made.
The unique is so fun and so unique on its own...and gated behind such a costly way...it sucks a bit. I really hope a supporter will implement a headhunter card. EXALTS>EXAMS

I'm actually liking the idea of the "Perandus Contract" card set.
It gets you a full stack of Wisdom Scrolls. Always useful, not a powerful item so it wouldn't be rare and thematically appropriate since the Perandus family are always associated with mercantile wealth and trading. And considering what the reward is, it'd probably only need a couple of cards for the full set. Maybe you can make a crafting base that gives more people a shot to make a staff similar to this one.
2H Staff, high spell damage, hi physical damage
Spoiler
or Some Beyond uniques. whatever =p |

I've been thinking about these cards... and I've pretty much come to the conclusion that they're either going to be worthless annoyances, or they're going to become too important to ignore. The critical point is too unstable. Go too far from the ideal and you plummet into either side of the abyss.
Players who "design" these need to be incredibly careful with what they ask for... they just might get it. |

" One of the important aspects of the cards is that it allows players to work towards something without the goalposts moving all the time. If I'm 50 exalts on my way to a 100 exalt item, then suddenly the market changes and the 100 exalt item is now worth 200 exalts either because of currency fluctuations or increase in demand of the item, the only people who benefit from this are those rich enough to be able to afford the 100ex item in the first place. If there is a card that turns into a 100ex item and is say 1/20 for the set, having 10/20 cards means you're somewhat insulated from market fluctuations. In fact if the value of exalts crash or the value of the unique spikes, even an average player can benefit from these market changes despite their low buying power.
