All Divination Card creation ideas welcome! :D

Joker card would be really nice, as Heartsease already suggested.

Only 1 per stack and mid rarity.

Would name it "Sleight of Hand" or something like that.

I understand that Empower is a gem, not an item, but it's easy to go an entire league without dropping one. It's also very, very hard to get one to level 4 on your own. A card to target this would be welcome for many.


I would bet everything that the rarity of that card would piss everyone off. It would need to encompass the time to level a level 3 empower AND the chances that it would corrupt to level 4. Being able to target it does not necessarily mean you'll circumvent the work. It just has a more deterministic outcome -- kind of like the 6-Link Vorici cost.

Imagine a card that drops with a T2 like rarity and has something like 1/25 on it. How angry would you be?


I wouldn't be angry. I'd be a little confused. Since you are able to directly target these by farming certain areas they actually need to drop in those areas. If it has a T1 or a T2 drop rate then players are only going to see 3-4 cards per league if they play a LOT... The no-lifers may see 5-10 cards per league.

That completely removes any point of these cards. If I full clear docks 500 times I should be able to complete the Divination Card set for whatever is found there. If I full clear 100 shipyard maps I should be able to complete the card found there. I do see issues with this, but if it's going to require clearing an area 3000-4000 times then please just scrap the idea entirely.
As I've pointed out, these cards are either going to be too important to ignore, or too useless to bother with. I can't see them hitting the sweet spot in between. They're going to become worthless for your average everyday worker-bee and worth too much to your rich traders. Thus, they're going to become something you simply trade in for orbs if you can find someone trying to collect a set.

If backers implement some cards that can be fairly common they will balance well with the super rare cards. A set of cards that reward 10 alchemy orbs should be obtainable by a casual player. A T1 drop will not be. If they have a decent balance of these rewards across the rarity spectrum I can see this not being terrible.

But if you're looking for T1 drops or something almost as rare I agree with you 100%. There's no way to make the system successful for very rare drops.

You might be able to target farm Shav set in 10.000 Dock runs, but the likelihood of such game-play driving you insane is higher.

I'm pretty sure that not only will it be a few thousand runs for a T1, it will also be gated behind map RNG... Otherwise you're going to see hundreds of bots crushing docks :-(

You're going to see botting of this system regardless. DC's are an incredible boon for botters.

I dont think they will ever do that. These alt art prices belong in the race/pvp section of the game. As Chris Wilson stated in one of the podcasts: they are collectibles. If implemented like you said, they would lose there entire purpose, uniqueness and value. It is like GGG would take a shit on their top racers/pvpers.

Guess if you want one, start to collect exa div cards and buy one from another player. If you want something very affordable, take up one of those Fairgraves' Tricornes.

- A card that grants 15% of EXP (Approximate Level : ~ 20)

- A card that grants one of these Low Tier Unique Flasks -
Doedre's Elixir / Taste of Hate / Divination Distillate
Quantity to Collect : 1

- A card that grants a Teleport Gem
Quantity to Collect : 1

- A card that upgrades level of Hideout Master "xxxx" by 1
(This only Applies to Masters below Level 5 and if they are already present in your Hideout)

- Cards that grant 2 High Tier currency of same type : Chaos / Regal / Exalt

I like those ideas, bring boss fights outside town gates! Doesn't guaruntee any item so isn't overpowered either
