Will Awakening launch reset bandits?

Should be a Divination Card set to reset bandit quests.

Nice idea! Given that it's all a matter of having the components for the vendor recipe, that should be easy for GGG to approve, should it be proposed. =^[.]^=
=^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/

Pretty much like the stack of Regrets it amounts to. =^[.]^=

People can just use the vendor recipe to reset bandits.

people can use regrets for a skill tree reset

nice argument you got there

why not respec into pvp after you're bored of leveling?
for fun
Let the games begin
that is why i always go either 3 skills points or 40 HP + 2 skill points

so i can respec into a different build without resetting bandits each time :D

Actually bandit resets along with passive skill reset every major patch would be a good idea. I always had problem with this. Had tons of characters and every major patch I wanted to remake then and try something new... but I couldnt because I cant make a CI caster who already took 40 life and 18 % phys dmg as bandit reward previously.

Yup. Pretty much this.

I'm starting to think it's easier just to make a new character anyway. Even aside from the bandits, it can be tough to redo the whole tree at once and not have some sort of problem. Even following a previous build guide(if they even still work after the tree changes), there's room for making mistakes by taking stuff in the wrong order, not having enough stats for the particular gear you have at the time etc. Then you still have to get all of that gear, get it linked and colored correctly, find the needed gems, and level those up as well. Leveling gems starting from 1 while on an existing high-level character means either you're farming in zones WAAAAY below your level for a while and taking the currency penalty OR you're farming a more appropriate level zone but with much weaker skills than you would normally have.

So yeah, often easier to just delete an old character, make a new one, level from scratch, and deal with all of the above gradually instead of having to do it all at once.

I think running with a few parties for a bit to get all that sorted out is a far more efficient use of time than replaying the whole game three more times.

Since the strength of PoE lies in vast amounts of options, I think it's a good idea. This way players who would like to be able to rework a character upon a major patch have the ability to do so without paying 20 regrets that they can't realistically afford if they enjoy doing other things with their time. Players who would rather just make a new character would of course still have that option.

well they did change some of the rewards so it would make sense if they allowed to choose again
chris recently said theres a chance they may give the bandit respecs with the skill tree respec, didnt say it was for sure, but its obviously something they are considering.

Last major tree reset involved me respeccing double figure exalts worth of regrets, not to change my characters but to keep the same builds working the same way due to massive changes like the templar tree and crit etc which forced my chars to build into entirely different sections of the tree to keep the same build that functioned the same way after the patch as before. I sent a very long email to GGG about it. Not giving a bandit respec is bullshit imo, if the devs dont want permanence in the tree and the mechanics then they cant expect it from characters bandit choices. They want us to reroll a lot and have chars keep choices long term, but people who dont reroll a lot dont give a shit, they have their 1 char and can just spend 20 regrets to respec a bandit. People who dont play chars long term and just do leagues dont give a shit, they reroll. People like me who reroll a ton and also keep my chars long term get absolutely shit on when tree changes force me to take different paths and attack speed vs phs damage, charges I have access to etc change across 20+ long term characters and suddenly a patch comes with a double figure exalt build, exalts Ive farmed long and hard for. If a patch ever costs me that again Im going to go ballistic, seriously.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
