Is this not Wraeclast or is it Hello Kitty Island Adventure ?

Can't quite imagine an Exile saying "fug u fukin noob l2p u scrub hahahaha lmao".
No really, one has nothing to do with the other.
This game is far from being true Role playing, in terms of character-character interaction.

People being elitist about their game experience and treating new players like shit stops community growth. And what Charan said - we should be a little bit more welcoming and stop acting like it is ok to be a douche, because we are playing a game whom world is dark and cut-throat like.

And I'm not saying that we will ever be able to turn everyone in some kind of holy knights, by just typing shit on boards. I just think that we should not be advocating for acting like douche bags "because Wraeclast".

What's wrong with treating noobs like shit? This is POE... thats how it's meant to be played.

no you dont think so? then please explain why...

-Scamming and stealing is allowed. eg. Blizzard will punish scammer by banning them AND return the items to the rightfulowner.

-Global racial slurs/sexism stuff allowed (or at worst muted for 1 min 59 seconds if there happen to be a GM on and some dude happen to report you) this can easily result in perma-bans in other games.

-No GM assistance in account revert after being hacked... aka the hacker legally obtained your item by stealing your account and password.

The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.

FTFY. Everything. No, it is not meant to be played like that.

here let me repost it for you. Since you think PoE should be played in "friendly" way.

So you think PoE should be played more "blizzardly" but PoE's system is everything BUT blizzardly...

1) Because GGG have no resources to deal with every single scammer, or drama that would arise from it. If they would ban ONE scammer, a flood of posts and other shit would come. They know that, and this is why they prefer to keep it that way. Also, people should really learn how to deal with other people.

2) They are not. In fact, they cannot "allow" this kind of behavior, since they are enforced by law, and not their term of use. Not to mention this has nothing to do with in-game interaction between characters, because as I said "ayyy lmao bbq u fugin noob" is far from being a "game interaction".

3) It is not "hacking" if somebody got your password from you. You are just stupid to be giving out password to wrong people. NOBODY will ever recover your password, unless you have a good way of proving that it was yours in the first place (some companies like GGG doesn't bother with this at all - and I'm totally for it). Again, this has NOTHING to do with in-game interaction and/or Wraeclast being Wraeclast.

Never said that. Just don't act like douche bag, or say that it is ok to be a douche bag "because Wraeclast". Simple.

I do not interact with a lot of people in game, so can't really comment on that.

But I do participate some one the forums, and I have to say; it's bad. And sad. Every single thread made in GD, is trolled down bye the same freaking users every single time. We all know who they are, so I will restrain myself from naming names. But it's pretty sad that it's close to IMPOSSIBLE to have an on topic, constructive discussion without TONS of bull shit, trolling, elitism, off topic crap and suppression techniques. I can't imagine what's drives these people.

And sentences like:

"It's free, what do you expect"
"It's the internet FFS"

Is not an explanation nor an excuse.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Find a great guild and then you have no reason to worry about general chat, guild's tend to be much friendlier.

Take some time and find a guild that fits your personality, it will feel much better then. POE is a great game and well worth the time. Don't let some jerk off's run you away from having a wonderful online experience.
