Game is Dead. RIP POE 2014.

The game has some problems yes one is the Desync and the other is low FPS with some builds and i think the first is becurse cheat protection and the second becurse they give you so manny diferen oportunitys to play your exile so the engine gets problems and in my opinion its bedder this way then have a Game like Diablo 3 where you hero changing choise are so low that it gets Boring verry fast.
To the nerf yes every one cry when his loved build gets nerf but normaly that just meant that you had played to to easy build before so they need to nerf it so you can be happy that you had the chance to play easy before.
Balancing is very importent and shows that the game want to chage to a bedder one in future i think.
I hope some time they ADD a item Filter where you can exact filter out the items that you dont want to see.

FFA loot is a PvP mechanic, when you really cut to the core. I do not want PvP in my POE experience in any way, shape, or form.
Better take down your shop thread then.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Trading = pvp mechanic

I think that's... a stretch. If we're being intellectually pure, you're right.

If were being pragmatic about how partying in an FFA environment feels versus a PA environment, it's not even remotely the same. I sell not to compete, I sell because it's a meager source of income.

More to the point, I sell to people I don't know. I party (albeit rarely) with people I consider to be friends. I do not consider ninjaing loot something I would ever do with friends. The two concepts (partying and competing) are mutually exclusive in my mind.

Hey, you were the one using a slippery slope argument. This is not a case of "if there is ANY PvP element, Antee won't play." You're saying you like it minimal, and I can respect that.

Okay, so next question: imagine we had a completely PvE loot tension mechanic. For example, item is allocated to you, but after a timer expires the Hand of Hades springs forth from the ground and drags the item under, never to be seen again. You can still lose a Shav's this way, it's just that instead of another player getting it, no one does. What would you feel about such a mechanic?

(Related tidbit: mushrooms in the original Super Mario Bros move right instead of staying still because it means you need to chase them, potentially avoiding enemies as you do. Old school loot tension.)

Exactly.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Desync is not that bad if you are not a 1 shot glass cannon.
Desync is not that bad if you play with a team.
Desync is not that bad if you have broadband internet.

Nerfs, such as crit nerf, were needed. I now give serious consideration to crit vs non-crit when doing build theory. Path of Crits is behind us, and I'm very happy about this (and my 96 toon is CoC).

Sure performance has some major issues, but at least GGG doesn't make the game mechanics boring, like spamming cooldown skills in D3. The mechanics are real, and your pc will have to keep up. Players who have heavy duty gaming rigs have very little issue with bad performance.

Your feedback in non-constructive and does't say a lot for your maturity level.
This could apply to so many threads, but PoE is dead I think deserves it the most.

Spoiler
When I read this thread, I get this picture in my head of a town. It has fields of grain and vegetables growing nicely and a lot of healthy livestock. The people are happy and engaging. then on the outskirts of the town are a few vultures waiting for the day when the people starve to death so they can feast on them.

Tired of waiting, the vultures begin picking castor beans and dropping them into the village, hoping the people will eat them. when the people notice this, they say to the vultures....we will let you have some livestock if you stop dropping poison beans into our village. The vultures reply NO! nothing with satisfy us short of feasting on the flesh of the entire village, because once this place was only for vultures, and now there are people here, and we do not want you here defiling our land.
