So yes, duping is very real. And yes, when you see such a dagger, it's a dead giveaway that there's some kind of duping behind. Thus GGG finally detecting him and banning him.

He was extremely stupid, he should just continued doing this and getting rich through rmt, but got greedy.

Apparently there are so many people duping, but I have still not seen any proof other than "look at that item".

He makes a mile long post about it, but can't provide any proof other than "look at these items".

Now that we got that sorted out, it is my opinion that your can't craft such an item without and endless supply of orbs. You are on the other hand allowed to trust GGG and doubt the fact that there's any duping going on.
