There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that the POE client provides GGG with a list of your running processes. There's a huge difference between the local client seeing the information, and GGG's server seeing the information. There's absolutely nothing to indicate that any private information is being transmitted to GGG.

lol, what is the point in the client seeing what proccesses are running? Anyway, right now all that has been figured out is that a checksum of your game memory is generated and sent to the server and validated. Functions that scans your proccesses has been found but nobody seems to know if they are in use yet.
Lot's of people seem to be missing what I'm asking. I'm not asking if how I'm using macro software is cool, I'm asking if the software itself is cool with their new proc monitoring. There were lots of issues with things like punkbuster flagging game input device software back in the day. Sounds like GGG may be reinventing another wheel here, so I want to make sure that I'm okay with my non-AHK macro software. Just want to make sure I don't get caught up in some bullshit ban because they're still developing their monitoring software and don't have it fleshed out properly yet.

You should email them and ask, because how can we know? All we can do is speculate, and my speculation is that they wont bother with any sort of macro software, because there is no way they can tell if it is used in PoE or not.

Lol, who even says there is a new program from GGG? They probably use what they always used to detect illegal stuff.

Well, the thread was to hopefully get an answer from GGG, and I doubt I'm the only one who runs the software, so it would be good public knowledge. Just wanting some clarification, and saw no reason to do that privately.

GGG doesnt have to answer anything publicly. If you want info on what you want to use in the game, then its you who has to email GGG.

The macro software you are using is not specifically made for PoE, its a software that comes with a piece of hardware and is widely used in all kinds of software, games or just to do stuff in windows. Why would GGG ban something that isnt causing any harm for their game? Makes no sense to me. They will see the proccess running, they will see the name of the proccess and see that it is something made by Logitech, thats enough info to not ring any alarm on their end. Also, if you would use it for any illegal macro's, the only way to find out is to monitor you ingame and see what you do there. The macro software emulates keypresses, so on GGG's end you just typed /oos manually even though you used a macro to do it.

TL:DR, Macro software is safe, unless they are going nazi mode and bans 90% of the game population for no reason.
