" Quick!!! Put your tinfoil hat on! God, if you're not familiar with general PC knowledge - could you please refrain from posting such BS?.. For everyone interested "why the of only strongbox fix was 11Mb?" - here's your answer (so hard to look into client.log): " GGG often puts another (non-connected with "patch theme") files to download. You were receiving parts of Act4 for almost a year already. Why was that done? To reduce the final size of the patch. Same picture here - strongbox fix is the first file, and the next two are updates to in-game event schedule and such. Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it. Happiness requires effort. |

" You sir, dont know what your talking about lol. The patch downloaded a new Client.exe which has process monitoring capabilities and will most likely flag accounts that are running processes that modifies game memory and also has names like CheatEngine or w/e its called. This is all over the place now, people have been reverse-engineering the patch and discovered the code. I wish they would have added this in a larger patch to hide it better, but oh well. At least im sure we will see some banned accounts because of this, good riddance. Last edited by CrazylikE#7023 on Jan 13, 2015, 3:24:57 PM

If it was only talk, that's one thing.
However, I backtracked the hackers and accessed their own site, got the data from their reverse engineering of the latest PoE patch. There are calls added in the patch to the Windows API that, among other things, gets a list of active processes and window names. Its real, way too much information and various dumps (debugger snapshots, etc) to be fake. |

" Lol at you people going all crazy now, as if GGG did something awful to you that you all didnt know about already. Or didnt you? I knew GGG knows every keystroke i make and whatever else they need to know about hax and cheats. All game companies do that btw, or at least 90% of them, the 10% that dont are shady businesses anyways. So uninstall all other games too while youre at it. Have fun playing old school with boards and pieces. ;) |

I think I'm just going to camp in Tech/Account support for a few weeks and enjoy the fireworks once this gets switched on.

" "Update : It's getting a list of active process, window name, if there is a attached debugger as well. Those lib are loaded dynamically. Everything is detected. <censored>, <censored>, AHK stuff, everything." http://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/2s8xge/notice_130i_had_actually_a_stealth_anti_cheat_in/cnnb1ry Take it as you will, but assuming that AHK runs OUTSIDE of PoE (no injections or whatever), I'd presume the hack detection dumps the entire process list. Well done GGG. The original Hillockfarms
