I like that they're watching what I do. It'll help to keep me from joining the dark side. :)

There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that the POE client provides GGG with a list of your running processes. There's a huge difference between the local client seeing the information, and GGG's server seeing the information. There's absolutely nothing to indicate that any private information is being transmitted to GGG.
Well only way to know is we could sniff packets and see information they are sending back to server.

It's actually worse than that. NO ONE HAS ANY IDEA WHAT IT IS DOING. Maybe it's innocent, maybe it's borderline, maybe it's way over the top.
Basically their ToS says they can do whatever they want, monitor/track/transfer data, and any laws in your country of origin don't apply. It pretty scary in truth.

I don't care. VAC from valve has been doing this for 10+ years.
What's the big deal? It's just looking for processes that hook into the PoE client.
If you haven't done anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about.

My understanding is they're using a process monitor looking for known cheaty kinda programs. While I can do all that stuff with logitech software (just like AHK), that's not how I use it for PoE. Kinda the point of the thread is clarification.
If this is the case, Blizzzard has been doing this for years why is this such a big f-ing deal?

Because Blizzard has refined their system for over a decade, while PoE's version my be working in its infancy. If this is some homebrew punkbuster, it should be questioned, because it will most likely have some oddities.

Oh come on dude, what makes you think that GGG would put out something that hasn't been fully tried, testing and quality assured?
