Cheating sucks, but it doesnt really affect me if someone is using maphack. The only way I see it affecting me is if they are able to more reliably farm something because of some kind of tool and affect the market, but I dont have to take part in the market?

How is it not? Example: first 50 8/8 get a reward. Who has the advantage, someone using HUD or someone not using HUD?

And now, can you please explain to me how an offline version would help you in this matter? You either play offline version where you cant take part in the race to top 50 8/8 or you play the online version and ignore the race to top 50 8/8, its the same thing isnt it?

I'm saying there's no point in having 8/8 competition when you have this much cheating. if you don't have 8/8 competition, then what's the point of always online? If there's no point to it, then give us offline. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for offline, I'm asking for cheat free online experience.

ah i see because although he doenst interact with you you keep track of his progress to compete with him to see how good you are doing against someone that doesnt even "race" you ? ...


yea makes sense comparing yourself to someone that doenst even put in effort to compete or race against you since it clearly shows you how good or bad you play

I enjoyed the top 50 8/8 thing, it took a lot of dedication and time to complete but I did it, and I didnt cheat so I was glad they did it and hope they will continue to do it.

You cant ask for a cheat free experience because it will never happen, in any online game unless nobody plays it. Cheating sucks, but you simply have to live with knowing that some people cheat, or you have to go play singleplayer games. I have played CS, BF and other multiplayer FPS games since the 1990's so I am very well aware of how lame cheaters are, but you cant do anything about it :/

All you can do is do your best at catching cheaters and do whatever you can to limit what kind of cheats that can be made for your game, and GGG already does this so all you have to do is play and try to ignore that there are cheaters. Its sad I know.

it would actually be an improvment if he could even reach 50% of the capability to go on civil about a discussion that all those cheaters in the reddit post were able to do.

from what i have seen today in the reddit post and even here on the oficial forum. cheaters and those that dont care how others play a game as long as they dont enter competetive gameplay are better conversation partners than those that are against cheating in every shape or form because every other one just barges in and lets out some insults.

I dont care if he competes or not, he is breaking the rules in a game that I love, that is reason enough for me to hate on someone who is cheating. Of course I probably will never notice it, but I still dont like it, why should I? It makes no sense to me.

well sure but does that mean if the person would cheat in an offline version of poe would it bother you too when GGG decides same rules would apply (theoretically speaking)

i can understand why it does bother people if cheaters use cheats to gain advantages over others i dont like that myself either, but when someone keeps to themselfes i really dont see a point why someone would care.

but anyway... sadly none of the QoL features will ever be implemented because the loudest to cry and fling shit like a bunch of monkeys are again those that focus on one aspect and disregard everything else and if thats an indicator like it was in the past GGG will listen to the few that cry the loudest.

as i never even tried to use hacks i read that post with like WTF??!!!

1) Why the name of a project is even accepted by moderators? liek advertising or so.

2) the worst part: as some of the application features are obvius hacks, some of them are so awated by players that is brutal that now, even if i know i can use a hack, i still have to await for GGG to implement sounds or visual loot filter.

I was really excpeting that smthg like this will happen and what? I've just read that there is a simple tool just for that. oh come on GGG, be a step forward to cheaters
