This. I don't understand why GGG doesn't offer simple quality of life features like in game keybindings for /itemlevel, /remaining, /oos. Options for colourblind people. Providing an option to tone down particle effects isn't as trivial as those if they do not have an in house graphics programmer but I can't fault people for using the other options as I'm playing on a potato myself.

Not that I use or condone the use of cheats, but getting the game to actually run in a playable state shouldn't be something left up to external tools.

A lot of the desire for external tools comes from the limited options provided. Not wanting to provide an option to tone down particle effects because of the user experience is laughable to someone experiencing <5 fps drops.

for me it seemed always that they just didnt care enoughe since ive seen alot of those topicos pop up and vanish again since 2012(dont know b4 since didnt play b4)

its a sad thruth for poe that so far they listened rather to the minority that just cries louder and insults everyone that trys to have a normal discussion until people just dont bother even trying to voice ideas because all you get is shit flinging towards your way from always the same few trolls on here.

For GGG to provide such an option they have to make sure they do it right and it works as intended for as much of the userbase as possible. Which may very well take more time and effort than the other option. That said it's not rocket science and hiding behind user experience reasons is nonsense. How is a pretty screen at <5 fps a better experience than one that is less pretty but is more functional.

I haven't read the whole thread here yet, but thank you for mostly reaffirming my faith in our community. Having read the numerous RMT and hack related reddit threads over the last 24 hours, I was appalled at the scale and justification for cheating over at Reddit. My posts of protestation were downvoted and I felt a bit alienated.
