honestly, I'm not even reading the OP's posts or the responses to them.
and yet I'm 99% sure, it's the exact fucking same ritual of one person explaining a general issue with the game, and some others ("the usual ones" most likely) telling him - in polite and less polite ways - it's his issue, he's bad, and he should learn to play.
some of them are then probably "trying to help" him.
by further insulting his playing skills, of course.
skills, they have absolutely no damned clue about, because they never saw him in game.

here's something I learned rather recently, Destroyer:

GGG don't want you to "have fun", unless "fun" incorporates all known ways of player interaction. including trade, obviously.
the reason behind it, is player interaction being the main (only?) catalyst to buying packs and MTX - which GGG's financial model depends on.
it's essentially their way of keeping the game and themselves alive, without going P2W.

so in a world of trade and general player cooperation, there will always be people who do it better than others.
trade better, that is. and/or be top-line streamers with armies of in-game stuff-donators and well-trained teams of guys, who power-level each other to 80 in the time it takes the average SSF player to reach Cruel.
power-team-up and Global 820 all Masters to 7, in the time in takes you to randomly find Zana for the first time.

and so we get the scraps.
and we will continue to get the scraps until we too become uber-traders, and team up for a common goal with people who are experienced in teaming up for a common goal.

I totally agree with you John. You should expect to get godly loot after 2000 hours, you should get it after beating the shit out of hardest content. But OP wants it at level 35 which you can reach in few hours. That's the difference between his stance and yours.

Do you think I like to see bunch of useless rares dropping from palace dominus? I don't even look at stats anymore, just vendor everything for alts to trade to jewelers and fusing so I can link staff I bought after uing hudreds of alts and not getting anything useful.

Sure thing: after leveling 4 characters to lev 80+ you expect to have some good items. But at level 35? I deserve BiS item after 4 hours of play? Come on...

As for Charan post: I did read it and it makes a lot of sense. When I first used jeweler orb in CB and item went from 3 sockets to 1 I went like: WTF?? It can destroy my item? thats stupid. And I still think they should have a chance to increase number of sockets/links without removing any.

Heck, I'd even go for nerfing the chance to roll a 6 link if it means I can sink a few fuses in my armor every time I feel like it. If you use 5L chest you need to find a replacement first before attempting to bump it to the max, that's a really strange way to handle gear progression.

2000 hours and still no wealth = ur playing unefficiently or you buy overpriced shit from every seller. 0.25 ex per hr from dominus x 2000 hrs = at least 500 ex from altercations alone.

I explicitly said with Grace and/or granite you softcap it already allowing you to be naked against physical damage (even easier if you get a hold of a cwdt combo)... Yes you hit the flask ANYTIME a mob gets close to you or when you fight a boss when you expect massive damage that can't be avoided anymore. And the Grace makes up for the rest.
People who rely purely on gear-stats for defensive values like armor will always be fragile even with a 5L 500 armor chest piece.

Keep on trading 5L and 6L all the time while leveling while I level many times faster with almost no expenses at all while I'm still many times stronger in terms of clearspeed AND defensive values and I'm not even a real pro or anything.

To be clear ive not read anything in this thread past the op saying they got to merciless and it was too hard to get a 5L.

There are many 5L armors/weps you can find on poe.xyz.is for at least 1 chaos. This is not something you are going to spend tons of orbs on to obtain. If it was any easier i think it would diminish the game.
