"We understand what is required to make an addictive action RPG ..."
" Technically the only thing USA is most addicted too is prescription pills and they are lower then a country like France. Highest amount of population per quota just for drinking would be Russia. If your talking about the most people by sheer number, it would still be Asia ;v " Because you are asking the largest amount of people who are addicted to xyz. It is not like a question like I showed you earlier "What country/race has the most red heads" Which would be Irish since they have the most redheads within their country (13%) as well as most of them carry the red-head gene. No matter were they move (let's say all of the Irish people move to the US) you can still say Irish people in general have the most red heads. Something like gaming addiction would require just an internet, computer, and a country that you have time to use that computer for leisure. If you were asking "Who are the most addicted to MMOs" then it's more specific and we have a standard to use. There are social pressures that may "effect" you such as if marijuana is legal in the country obviously the people within the country themselves have a higher chance of being addicted. (Canada has the most Marijuana users within their population as well as being the biggest country that has legal use) If my country has 90% addicts to computer but only has a population of 1 million then that would be only 900k people while a country which has 1.3 billion (china), 1% of the population would still be higher. " Really, that simple? Then I'll write this on my hp too. From now on call me an "expert for addictive internet activities" :D Edit: or "solutions" - sounds better than activities :DDD Last edited by Salumba#4765 on Nov 7, 2014, 4:52:50 PM

" And what do you think? |
|
" No. But after you reflected about it and came to an opinion about the topic without supposing motives. And because of the No I ("expert of addictive internet solutions") invite you to take your time and post your well thought response later. |
|
" Yes, reflected. But if you refuse, I can't do much about it, no? Why did you even post in this thread? I don't know. Even if I'm an expert but this seems to be the expert's fate ... ^^ |

I think most Westerners are addicted to sugar :) Is PoE sugar?
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" Good question. It's like sugar. The goal must be to not be a game that one starts and logs in and plays, but just like sugar - the every day ingredient, that atomatically finds its way into the coffee cup. So, according to the thread title: who puts PoE into her/his coffee instead of or along with sugar? And what is it, that makes you behave like this? Is it really just plain habituation (then it'd be easy to make a mmo successful, especially in dictatorships) or is it something else/furthermore? FWIW, he's right.
Junky, but not wrong. Ah, BBC. I mean, there are a lot of references to this. It is absolutely not racist to point out that a culture has tendencies towards behaving in a certain way; that's kind of what culture is.
Spoiler
My time in Indianapolis was spent around a surprisingly diverse group of people. At one particular factory, you could see different cultures in action, just from observing behavior in the lunch room.
The Hispanics all ate together, in a communal fashion, with each member of the group bringing a large amount of ingredient X to the table. Conversation was usually about family, and what they did during the weekend/off hours. New hires fell into this behavior almost immediately. The African folks (from french-speaking western countries) were seriously gossipy, and very interested in politics. Almost all conversation was political. The black Americans almost never brought food from home. They left in small groups, and then collected at a couple tables to chat it up while eating. Conversation was almost always about Pop stuff. The white Americans ate as quickly as possible, then spent as much time as they could smoking alone in their cars. We also had some Burmese, who ate in a similar fashion as the Hispanics. They talked very little at lunch. Call that what you will, but racist it is not. A comprehensive, easy on the eyes loot filter:

" It is not racist to post links to certain articles, but do you really think they're right? I mean, the bbc article states differences between asian immigrants and british adolescents, but both are part of the same society and culture. What makes immigrants more likely to feel welcome in MMO's and not in every day life? Should MMOs be the preferred place where to meet and communicate? I say no. Despite they can have this role in every day life. Why is this so? Should we support this or not? Last edited by Salumba#4765 on Nov 7, 2014, 7:05:01 PM
