"We understand what is required to make an addictive action RPG ..."

... source.

Beware!

Besides that I'm curious: Where are the maniest/most addicted located? In the US, Europe or the asian hemisphere?

I heard Koreans die gaming. That is truly hard core.

But in their defense I believe those deaths were in smoke filled internet cafes.

I think the US had one of its first gaming deaths in the last couple years and it was a teenager.

Course by "gaming death" I would define that as someone dying while playing a game for like ridiculous hours in a row.

You cannot "die from gaming."

You can die from being a complete retard and not eating/drinking/sleeping all at the same time for 48+ hours.

If we are going by MOST hours played in a country that would be china because they got the most people.

No, I mean the "most addicted" as GGG states on their hp. According to this they are experts and know how to make people addicted to an action RPG. But "addiction to an ARPG" is not something every human being could get addicted to easily (or yes?). And there must be parameters how to measure "addiction to an ARPG". What are these and where are the most addicted located?

That's like asking where are the most people addicted to drugs or drinking.

The place were a vast majority of the planet lives in.

Exactly. But there should be a difference, shouldn't it?

Why would be there a difference.

Okay you can only get drugs or drinks at in mass amount to the general public in a non-3rd world country, so that takes out half of the planet. (Like internet and computers)

From there you are asking the most ADDICTED in a country to something that requires internet and computers in accessible manner (with large amounts of leisure time).

The only countries that are large enough to have a population are the ones you listed and fulfill the require above.

China alone is 5X the population of EU or US each by themselves, and if you are separating from US (including china and south america and the caribbean) EU with all of the countries that make up the EU union and the surrounding areas then the gap closes but China alone is still larger.

So the entire Asian (even if you take out the middle east) would have the most addicted people.

If you are asking "Where are there the most addicted people" by some specific quota highest out of a population size similar to "Where are there the most red-heads" we can answer "Irish" since they carry most of the red-heads in the world as well as highest carrier of the gene. But that is something genetic that we can clearly map out, "addiction" is a personal thing to a person.

That's easy!

Most drunkards are in eastern Yurop

Most drug addicts are in US of A

Most gaming addicts are in Asia, apparently, though looking at that ez-mode 'P2W' Garena PoE, I'm not really sure :)
When night falls
She cloaks the world
In impenetrable darkness
So it's just a matter of numbers? The bigger the area the more addicted? I doubt this. It cannot be so simple, it's just too easy. Mankind is more than numbers.

But let's assume that you're right and it's like you posted. Then yet it's unknown what one has to understand to make people addictive to something (games, drugs, alcohol, etc.). It's a breaking bad seminar here, u know? ;-)
