Elreon multiple crafting mod is broken?

Some people are missing something here... Not everyone plays at the same speed and have all the time in the world. Not everyone is always in constant partys farming masters... Elreon is in my hideout and is only level 6. At the current rate I spend a month more to take him to level 8.

You think it's easy for you then it's easy for everyone? NO, is not. I don't like partys, I don't like spend all my time farming masters (is the more boring thing). Is not QQ, is just reality for many...
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what?

yeah but why is that? Why will you never get enough currency to craft? Because GGG have decided they dont want people to be able to make gear like this with anything less than retarded levels of effort. They have designed the rarity of mods, the diversity of mods and the drop rates of orbs to be so stacked against you making this sort of gear that players like yourself dont feel like its even worth trying. I have rows upon rows of exalt stacks at points and even I dont feel like I could have a crack at crafting a dagger like the ones in my pic. So how does that game design with the rewards you get from actually playing endgame via boss runs and mapping fit with this new crafting? Playing the bread and butter of the game has been designed one way, and now this goes completely against it and actually further devalues grinding those boss runs and maps.

Even if we forget my issues with taking a game that provides years of progression and boiling it down to a month, the way in which the game is now rewarding is completely wrong and at total odds with the main body of play. How do they justify keeping the orbs system so sparse for so long and then adding this? Why didnt they just massively buff orb drops and let everyone craft in a way that reenforces grinding endgame? Imo they didnt want to change how easy it was get get op gear like this, thats why exalts/eternals are still so awfully rare that for casuals they might as well not exist, they just completely fucked up and dont know how to go about fixing it. People have been calling for eternal/exalt drop buffs forever, Ive been calling for it, and the reason they give for not doing it is that they want high end gear to be almost impossible to achieve. It makes no sense at all.

I'm quite a fan of it actually, it isn't broken since everyone gets to abuse it equally.

Ok, I appreciate that, but what you are missing is that the game is too easy period when you have a weapon like these. A binos knife is strong enough to demolish any level of endgame maps, its an item you would be lucky to find if you grind the game for 500 hours, its that rare because its hugely powerful. Yet it is a piece of shit compared to what you can master craft in a few weeks.

Its not a case of this gear being good gear that was previously unfairly inaccessible, this gear is retarded and completely trivializes the entire endgame map system, owning gear like this is virtually cheating its so powerful. The fact that it had the potential to exist before was only balanced by 1 thing in the game, the fact that in reality it didnt exist. Nothing in the game has been balanced around this level of gear existing.

Im not gonna argue the rights and wrongs of balancing through rarity, Im not giving an opinion on that subject with what I am saying here, if you think its wrong then Im not arguing that point with you. #But right or wrong the only reason gear like this had the potential to exist was because in practice it didnt exist unless you had played the game for 1000+ hours and were playing in standard league where theres no balance or meaning anyway. In balanced temp leagues the potential existed for that chance, that in a 1,000,000,000,000,000 chance to find or eternal/exalt something retarded, to win that 50 million jackpot lottery. The game is balanced around it being ok for a few select people to fall through the cracks of game balance and end up being retardedly strong. If that is a bad thing, that its unfair to everyone else then the way to adjust that is to stop the potential for this gear to exist at all, not to give it to everyone and let the entire game become retarded.


This is not the gear you need to play endgame, its not the gear you need to faceroll endgame, its absurd gear that has absolutely no place in the current balance of game difficulty. Once you have a dagger like the one in that pic if a binos drops you might as well leave it on the floor as its useless. Oh but its worth selling right? Its still worth picking up because its a crazy weapon thats worth selling? Whos gonna buy it when everyone realises they can have the same retarded dagger you have for a trivial amount? You ground the game for 100s upon 100s upon 100s of hours and the best drop you found you can now sell to someone who hsnt got to the point where they have 10ex worth of currency to craft one themselves? Remind me why you are still bothering to farm again? Because you want to find a shavs, a mjolner or a void battery, 3 things that are still worth logging on for, 3 things which you can grind for 5000 hours and never see drop. This is what happened with D3, game progressed too quick, the only things worth finding had such low drop rates that the majority of people would never find them even if they did no life it, and when that reality started sinking in and people realised it the game died in a matter of months.

indeed, I am not going to argue that it is not ggg's intention for players to have so many mirrored gears but, RMT happens. I am not even going to doubt that not all mirror worthy gears are 100% legit, and mirrored gears have more of an impact on the standard league.

I will affect rmting in a sense when people feel like there is no longer a need for mirrored items because master crafted items are good enough. Not to mention, most bis mirror worthy equips have already been crafted,makes more sense for people to save up for a mirror then risking just as much currency to try to craft something as good. In a way, the crafting system is broken to begin with.
I completely do not get the point. OP might as well argue that the ability to use exalted and eternal orbs is broken in this game.

Tbh, I would never put myself into that situation of all in or nothing. This isn't the case in every 6linking attempt but people can and do go hard.

I've never linked with a 6l goal, only randomly got it going for 5l.
