Seriously, this killing party members at bandits has to stop
|
I don't group in end game let alone leveling. WTF for?
Then you got this, and you KNOW the mechanic exists, yet you party anyways? Just...huh? |

" Doesn't really matter. New and unaware players will keep falling for this trick so it would be preferable if it didn't ruin their experience in hardcore. |
|
" New and unaware players should only fall for it once though. From the "once again" and "yet again" comments in the first post, this is obviously not the first time that the OP has fallen for this. If yo keep falling for the same thing over and over, there's only one person to blame. |

" Meh. Maybe if I ever get to level 100 in standard and get bored, or if they fix their netcode/desync. Too many BS ways to get killed right now for me to want to invest time into hardcore. " Fun is subjective and HC is not better than SC. Leagues that are fun to me: SC = HC = Rampage = Beyond = Races = Special leagues. |

Sounds like BS to me. What possibly could be motivation for such a stupid mechanic. I dont group usually and certainly not leveling so never experience it.

I don't group with random people, but I always felt that the bandits quest provided a needless opportunity for griefing other players. It serves no constructive purpose and only upsets people.
The only players affected by this are really the new ones, and honestly, if one of my first experiences in the game had been to get killed after I asked for help, and then made fun of by a person who had incompetent parents, GGG would never have seen a cent from me. | |

I personally love that the game has this "feature". I miss PK from Diablo 2 where if you play with people you dont know/trust etc, there is always a risk of someone trying to off your character, I love the tension :)

Stand outside Bandit zone.
Tell everyone to get inside and vote. Wait for everyone to cast their vote, or kick them. Cast your final vote. "The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence."

Questions:
1) Seriously, who needs help killing the bandits, i mean really? 2) We are still crying about this mechanic? Out of all the things to cry about, the bandit quests are at the bottom of the list. |
