Seriously, this killing party members at bandits has to stop

Once again, after getting to that point in the game and wasting 2 hours of my time, since i don't skip content to progress faster and have no leveling gear, i've been killed at kraityn, yet again.
Wether it's the obviously malicious guy that disguises himself and looks like he is helping the team after progressing through chamber of sins, just to finally kill us off, or the oblivious team that warns no one and picks randomly, just to realise it after we're all dead, this is the most unbalanced thing i have found in this game.
Why would GGG even implement this? Why would they apply a mechanic abusable by players so that they can simply fuck with everyone else with their facebreakers, one-shotting anyone that has the bad luck of crossing them?
For me, there goes my free weekend to dedicate to poe, since this particular event has left such a bad taste in my mouth that the will to play is gone for a while. Personally, all the little faults in this game combined to this particularly nasty one are adding up too much.

Edit: just to add that it hasn't happened only in normal difficulty, the case is even worse, after dedicating more than a day of playing just to die later in merciless...

Well, since i've never died to desync, this is really on top of my death reasons in this game.
(they even allow us to use macros)

Sometimes the party is too good to afford letting it get full.

I also hate the mechanic. Even in HC I think any player kills should not permanently make you lose your character. I don't mind keeping the mechanic for its flavour if that happened.

GGG is an indie studio, their game is already hacked to shit and there's nothing they can do about it. standard league was "ruined" 3 months into open beta.

same people who dedicated their lives to hacking and manipulating diablo 2 for a decade have turned their attention to this game. it never stood a chance heh.
