I admire that GGG wants an atmosphere of people talking, socializing and haggling... but the trade chats are completely horrible and even using third party sites (poexyz) you're still stuck dealing with people that are offline, busy, overpricing stuff, or just plain idiots (like posting their entire characters current gear on trade forum to show off, not planning to sell it)

I would gladly sell things at low prices and buy it at higher than needed, just to have it be expedient. Some people enjoy the trading game; I came for the ARPG.

Nothing beats this:

Buyer: "Hi wtb your xxx for bo!"
Me: "Okay"

Then I get to act 1 and get this:

Buyer: "Oh, bo was 2 exalts?"
Me: "Yes"
Buyer: " I dont have that. Can I pay in 2 fuses, 3 vaal orbs, 12 alts and pair of facebreakers?"


Makes me want to uninstall this game and hide under a rock.

Him: offer?
Me: I will kill merciless piety for you
Him: lol serious? I want orbs
Me: cool, how many of what?
Him: like 10 chaos?
Me: oh I was thinking of doing 160 alts, is that cool?
Him: ya sure I could use the alts

Works 90% of the time, also you can go even lower by converting to a lower alteration ratio. Everyone needs alterations. :)

FYI: I have B/o's on all my items in my forum shop and when im trading through chat.

Buyer: "Hey how much for xxx?"
Me: "xxx b/o"

I play this game hard for a few months, take a couple
of months off, repeat. I am not always up to date on

they say offer because they hope you'll offer slightly better than market value. they want to win.
