Just decided to support GGG, hope they don't create another RMT challenges

Since would be expensive for GGG having more people getting the t-shirt, they should change the reward in something cheaper like a mtx, so challenges can be "easier".

Honstly, who cares about T-shirt. Its a bad kind of reward, the good one will be a in-game cosmetic item. Currently 8-stars yields NOTHING valuable. And additionally, 8 winners means ALL others get nothing, those who get 7,6 -stars.

And yeah, getting 8th star has NOTHING with playing the game - its all about trading, trading, and trading - is his game about trading - fuck no! Its about killing mobs and getting loot. Well, at least i wish it to be like it.

Last season was a bit worse than usual on this, but generally, no it's not ALL about trading. Only one of the challenges(collect all uniques) usually required a significant amount of trading. The others COULD be done primarily by playing the game and maybe at most, trading for 1-2 items if you weren't lucky enough to have them drop.

All the note worthy challenges required massive trading, all other challenges where filler and time consumption that could be done with a lvl 90 char in a lvl 10 zone.

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
instead of whining and demanding easier access to 8/8, maybe you should propose an 8/8 challenge, which you think would be a "fix" to your problem
8/8 Challenges Anarchy/Onslaught
8/8 Challenges Domination/Nemesis
8/8 Challenges Ambush/Invasion

Always remember, you dont support GGG to get anything done your way. You do it because you got money to throw away.

Again, no, they didn't. Let's take Anarchy/Onslaught...

Slay Rogue Exiles - No trading involved

Reach level 60 - No trading needed

Allocate passives - No trading needed

Full-clear in any difficulty - No trading needed

Items from vendor recipes - probably needed to trade for the 6L to get a divine, otherwise the rest were easy enough if you could run high level maps(also worth noting that they removed the divine from this challenge after this season, probably because they realized needing a 6L for it was a bit much)

Use currency items - Everything up to gcp is easily obtainable. Only ones you might have had to trade for were divine, ex, and eternal. Even then, you already got a divine if you did the previous challenge and odds are if you played a lot, at least ONE of those 3 orbs will have dropped for you by the end of the season.

So that's 6/8 there with minimal trading required at most. Maps probably needed a fair amount of trading and the uniques certainly needed a lot, but it seems a bit of a stretch to say that the challenges were ALL about trading when most of them clearly were not. Saying only 2 of the 8 were "noteworthy" and the rest were just filler also seems a bit of a stretch.

The next couple leagues followed a similar pattern. The challenges seem to have been designed to test your ability in ALL areas of the game and to show off the special content of each expansion. Trading is certainly part of that, but only one part of many.

In fact, I'll even go so far as to add that for all the other challenges besides the "own all uniques" one, if there was any aspect of it that was even perceived to "require" trading, it seems that they have changed it since then to greatly reduce that which would strongly suggest that it was not intended to require trading in the first place. Specifically:

Divine orb removed from the vendor recipe challenge
Map drops greatly buffed, plus addition of strongboxes making it far easier to sustain at least mid level map pools
Changing the challenge to require actually KILLING the boss rather than simply USING the map, thus placing more of an emphasis on actually playing the game rather than the trading part,
Buffing the drop rate on Sacrifice fragments repeatedly

And probably others I forgot.

Thx GGG, hope you fix THIS problem and not create anymore another RMT challenges... And real players and real funboys can to acquire new MTX-challenge only cosmetic. (Yeah, no more Pay to Win-Get uniq MTX)

This problem is a reason why i stoped continue to play new leagues and support you, but i want to give you one more chance, new 4 month league is started soon, i hope i don't miss support now.
Cya in game.

respect. the uniques challenges were/are one of ggg's worst decisions.

collecting some < 1ex uniques = ok, everything else is retarded

Right, because anyone that can do those challenges are clearly all RMT'ing and skill/knowledge of the games economy is just completely irrelevant. The ones in Invasion/Ambush were terrible, because of the Atziri items, Atziri was gated behind RNG, uber behind far worse RNG, and then the items were up to RNG too, not only that but Uber was practically impossible in HC. But the unique item challenges before that weren't so bad, maybe if it was mostly low/mid tier unique's, a few higher ones, and then just one of the really big items it would be better, but they were still more than possible for anyone the challenge is made for, people who can put the time in and are good at the game, if you don't have the time, too bad.
