Your League ideas
A MOBA type of League (dont know if randomly generated, might use a nonchanging template with random minor stuff - think of HOMM3 standart maps, but they could be replayed due to RNG).
MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) is a new gaming genre. Spawned from early forums from the custom map for Starcraft called {Aeon of Strife} and Evolved in to the most recent Defense of the Ancients or "DotA". This way, there would be everlasting stuff to do for the late game...and 'theoretically' MOBA with thousands of cool champions with unique skills :p Dont know how to implement it though, it would require a standalone game worth of effort...game lobbies, team making, match-making, balancing, griefing, etc...ugh, so much to think of. ___

So it sounds like a League is just a server.
I would pay for my own default and private League monthly so a few friends and I could play default on it privately. |

Apart from the many many very nice suggestions brought here, when should we expect any of them to be viable ?? I'm dying for one to start. Got sick of the sucky easiness of Default League, totally uninspiring and boring to death !

Make one league, one weekly league.
The champ gets some itens to make one special weapom or armor. The item are epic or lendary and bound. The champ gets some titles, or some mount or gold or exile coins. |

Hi all!
My first post that isn't a jelling about key ;) What do you guys think about league that: 1. The important one: there is no level requirement on items or gems. 2. On dead you are out of game or you lost massive xp like one level or so, and u drop all of yours items(whole backpack and gear). 3. Full PvP so you have to go all the time with friends. The idea is of constant PvP fight, but when you die and friends take you stuff you can easy get back to your friends with full gear - with no passive skills but that is the cost of dead. But there will be stats requirement so you still need bust up your statistic but its easyer bust it up. What do you guys think? And big sorry for my bad English. Peace. |

Skill leagues. Everyone gets same random selection of gems(say 20) and no other gems drop.
Or leagues where everyone starts with same elite skill (big circles on map like Blood Magic) and you have to start from there. I do like the idea of single-class leagues. Also you get all/most of your skill points at the begining but no orbs of regret. League with only white items. Shall i continue? |

Gambler's League, a league based on the idea that sometimes, fortune's on your side, and other times, you will be VERY UNLUCKY.
- Monster spawns completely randomized (aside from required quest mobs). Act 2 bosses on the opening beach, Hillock alongside Weaver, or anything of the sort is possible. - Enemies spawn in much greater quantities, and respawn without the instance needing to reset; think Nightmare in Doom.* - All monsters can randomly get Frenzy/Endurance/Power Charges on hit and being hit. When they die, there's a chance of them going Corpse Explosion-style in correspondence with the element of the charges they have accumulated. Either that, or when they die, projectiles fly out from their body in random directions. - Aside from unique items, no magic/rare weapons/armor are available, and the orbs that allow enchanting to magic/rare properties do not exist. To make up for this, Orbs of Chance, and the socket/property/link resetting orbs drop much more often. Yes, a league sound like a private or separate server, that what make it interesting.
Would a 3-Way League be feasible? What i meant is there will be 3 factions in a league. You choose which faction to join. This 3 faction will have 3 colors; Red, Blue, Green. (no, it not link to the ur class) -any1 from any other standard leagues can join this league. -In this league, the items are restricted to that league. -items will have special/ overpowerful items. -but when you logout from that league, you lose all the items you have farmed in that league. -It will be a 3 faction war. -no penalty when u die. -you get kill points for your faction. -Every end of the week, whichever faction have the most points wins. -rewards? well i let u guys suggest. Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.

Some of these ideas might have been mentioned before, not sure...
1) Progression League: (Assumes a group of players could be combined under a parent name, or guild.) Guilds would have X amount of time to have defeated certain boss mobs on certain difficulty levels. "Guilds" who don't have these mobs defeated by certain dates are bumped to default. 2) Similar to above, but based on individuals /played time. Boss mobs all have an indivual time they must be killed by. For example, Boss mob 1 needs to be defeated before a player reaches X amount of /played time. Etc.. |
