Your League ideas
I will let myself paste my post in from the similar subject.
League Hardcore + "Everyone has their views should look like the game in HC mode. For me would look like this : - more mobs - more difficult to survive - less exp - see above - less drop - you are on an island of outcasts, what are you expecting? - dead -> go to Default but all items are becoming white - It was only a dream You must survive, no one said it would be easy. What do you think about that?" |

The only thing i can think of is for a pvp league, people may hide a lot. So to prevent that after a certain amount of time your max health is reduced by a certain percent. Also when you do kill other players you could get a max health bonus.

I would like to see a cut throat gambler's league. A league where you pay an entry fee to play. Your character then carries this entry fee as a unique item in his inventory. Should the character be killed the killer can take the entry fee and adds it to his own inventory.
In this way you lose your money when dying and you win money when you kill someone else. This kind of leagues should probably be as a tournament. So for example. The league starts when enough players has signed up, ie paid the entry fee, the pot, and it ends when there is only one or two players left. The winner should be able to be paid out the money he earned and a small fee should be paid to GGG for hosting it. |

Elimination would be cool. It's something like cut-throat, but with hardcore. Basically, you must eliminate everyone else and stay alive yourself. You make alliances, but only in chat. Your best companion can easily turn upon you to become the best.

yes yes cheerio..... just make it competitive, diablo will have no ladder and that's why it will be a fail. With a good matchmaking system with good ranking system that means matches will be fair... I'm just guessing there will be arenas though

I'm not in beta, and I don't know how feasible this is, but I think it would be pretty sweet to have a monster-play league.
In this league, people could create regular characters, or play as the monsters in the game. Obviously the monsters would be at a pretty big disadvantage one on one, so the monster players would have to stick together. Also, it'd be cool if they get points based on how effectively they route the players, such that when they die they can purchase the ability to come back as bigger stronger monsters. Alternatively, the players could be limited in an Ironman type way such that the playing field is more even. I'm no developer and I have no idea how hard this would be, but I know I'd totally pay 5-10$ to get into a league like this, provided that I wasn't the only player in it. |

I would enjoy seeing a Rush League. Not necessarily overdoing it too much, but Increasing item find chances slightly. Tweaking health armor and enemy health (less? more?) So the casual gamers that arent total addicted MMO junkies can still get some satisfying game play without sitting at a screen doing instances 12/7+ just to find a really amazing item. Ive played diablo 1 and 2 and I loved the Mod KD2GE for Diablo 2 which had amazing item find, gem find etc.

League for a specific class Hardcore Increased monsters Increased spawns of champion type monsters Bosses do more damage and have more health This would be interesting to see how people's class ideas compare in a much more difficult environment?? "Random League" Perhaps you could make a league where quests and bosses are much more randomized. Like in different acts and maps then they would usually be found?
