Your League ideas
" Have a mode just for magic finding? I'm sure you could work something out to where you have to find items before other people and there would be a way to transfer said item to a character on another league. "Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys."

How about "Insufferable" league?
What it is: Players would start out with base weapon, armor, and helmet. Strands would be as normal, same simple monsters up until Hillock. Hillock however would NOT drop any items at all (to prevent from exploiting Hillock to gain gear for what I am about to explain). Past act1 town, all areas are RARE OR BOSS ONLY! This will of course be a default and not hardcore league, as the difficulty would prove insufferable for hardcore ;) haha. The catch is, the mobs wouldn't drop rare/boss mobs, because that would be an overpowered drop rate since these chars would roll to default league once this league ends. They would drop SLIGHTLY higher than regular mobs, but somewhere in between white mobs and blue mobs. Rare mobs in this league would act as normal mobs, and the random-spawn rare mobs would instead be bosses. Of course, we don't want you killing a level 20 boss in a level 5 area, so they would be fitted to whatever area they randomly appeared in, but they would still be stronger than the rare mobs already existent in that area. To go along with the drop rates, bosses that spawn randomly would not drop boss-rate items. Instead, they would drop SLIGHTLY above rare mobs in normal gameplay, putting them somewhere between rare and boss drops. The general idea is that this league would be VERY hard, and almost HAVE to be played in teams to survive more than 5 minutes. But, in return you get a VERY VERY slight drop bonus, not a huge one by any means, but VERY slight. Also, it is a good way for people to test their teamwork skills between their guild, PvP team, or what have you. |

I think it would be cool if you could set up league where everyone puts an valueable item of some sort, then everyone has to click accept and agreeing that the items got about the same value.
If people dont like what one person is beting he will then be asked to change the item or leave. The league would then proceed as some sort of "Attrition" league. The prices would be distributed in some percentage way for the top 3, 5, 10 or 20 depending on how many people that joined the league OR starting with the winner and working the way down to the rest of the 3, 5, 10 or 20 top they got to pick the item they wanted from the bidding pool. and then you could pick these item up in your storage chest on desired character. This is just a rough idea that would make the game a little more competitive and fun. |

Is there a Ironman challange option?
Its something we used to do in Diablo 2, we arranged a game of 8 players thru d2jsp site and joined a hard core game, then we lvled together picked up whatever we would find, and when all got to lvl 9, we went to town, and started doing knock out tournament outside town. For every champ you killed you could loot whatever he had found, to improve for your next battle. Dont know if this would apply as a sepparate League or just made possible ingame in normal cut throat? IGN: Judgement, Lifepot, Manapot Last edited by R3iDAR#0183 on Nov 14, 2011, 9:51:51 AM

Don't have a name yet but maybe something like a league where you play from start to finish disable mob/player respawns/respecs and set portals one-way/one time through only. you get what you get and you survive until the end. you pass through towns once according quest-line progression. leaderboard can be based on any number of performace factors (i.e damage dealt/taken, time taken to finish last area(not how fast. some of us cannot play 24/7/365 =|), etc)
or maybe a puzzle league =P |

My idea:
Time to kill'em all: Enemies don't give any experience, just items. The only way to gain experience is PvP AND the only way to obtain a Unique item is buy it, but are too much expensive. OH! And all unique items are dropped when you die, so... maybe the best way to obtain a good item without spend big amounts of money is kill your partner. Last man standing league
1. Hardcore 2. Full PvP. 3. Last person alive wins To ensure that players play at the same time: 4. You are allowed to play only during a certain time of day. Say from 4:00 to 8:00 UTC. 5. You are automatically disconnected when that time comes. 6. There are multiple simultaneous leagues for people in different time zones. To ensure that everyone logs in regularly (so game does not stall if one person is hiding): 7. You have to reach a certain level every day since the start of the league. Those levels are not hard to reach but you have to be online at least some time. People who fail to reach those levels are eliminated. Last edited by Letamol#5411 on Jan 6, 2012, 8:09:02 PM

Remort League
In one MMORPG I've seen a concept called remorting - when you reach maximum level, you can choose to sacrifice all your equipment and levels and start from the beginning with significant bonuses to your stats. The catch is that your xp gain rate is halved for your second play through. You could remort multiple times as long as you can handles the compounded halving of xp gain. In PoE you can allow people to remort once you beat the game on Merciless and got to level 60 or so. Once remorted you are given 5-10 extra skill points, 50 health and 50 mana. Keep in mind that the idea of remorting is created to give advantage to people in PvP so adjust above bonuses to what you feel a sufficient advantage would be. Ladder rankings for this league would be based on number of remorts players have first and experience after that. Remort hardcore PvP would be the ultimate test of skill.
