Garena is adding skill tree resets as a micro transaction in 1.1.3. Thoughts?

They were separate statements. I should've paragraphed them. No apology needed, the fault is mine.
And yeah, their staff is..well. Lets just say I wouldn't want to deal with them again. But its not always their fault. Corporate policies as usual. Asiasoft is worse in that regard actually. The kindly support staff who wants to help you? He can't because he needs to defer the approval to his boss which has to go to that guy's boss which..well yeah. That one time someone had an invalid code for $5 worth of credit but support would've give it back to him because they needed to bring it up a chain of like five people. |

I'vs started to think whats the point of this thread now, since Garena POE already implement this feature.
All and all, GGG already allowed and approve to let Garena to take this step. We all just hope GGG won't take such ridiculous approach to suck money from the players through this way in this server as well. I hope "This game is free to play and will never will be Free to Play" is not in dustbin. I Love This Game Now, Being a Summoner Hardly Associated with Desync ♫

I can see that this is a market/catering to the player base decision, just like their spacing of race rewards and the increased IIR/IIQ on weekends since apparently the approach to gaming is really different in the Asian regions. But I really don't understand how that daycare style stuff can be fun. I've played a game from a studio based in China for a while where you are constantly showered with freebies, free gold, experience for twiddling thumbs in town afk and which even has auto combat. The single most boring thing I've ever touched which is too bad because the beta (before the original developers left and it devolved rapidly) was a really great game. No envy for Garena players from me, just saying.

I really doubt GGG will bring such a practice to the international version. They recognize that if they do, they will lose a large portion of their playerbase and will be going against their own ideals. Garena has its own server and its own way going about things, so GGG is giving them the freedom to do so. Don't expect a change on their server to lead to a change on GGG's servers.

" I also recall it being said that in some countries that Garena can serve, GGG is not allowed to or it would not be cost-effective to serve directly due to stringent internet and business regulations. All of SEA that Garena serves may be able to play on Garena, but to my understanding not all of SEA can access PoE proper. I apologize if Im wrong about this though. |
