Perhaps you would enjoy Diablo 3's forums better. I just perused it, out of the first three topics, two are complaining about "nerfing" part of the game.

Gear is irrelevant.

Alchs, chaos and chisels do not drop to even dream about sustaining 76+ for prolonged amounts of time, despite being more than enough geared for said maps.

True. As exploitative and cheaty as alt+f4, snapshotting, or even multilogging chars for increased drops may feel, it's quite within the realm of legitimacy, as GGG takes these things into consideration when balancing. If you're not using these things, you're not playing the game right.

Oh hi there, this answer is easy. By the time I didn't even have 1 successful attempt to kill the REGULAR atziri. I had my very first attempt to try REGULAR atziri yesterday. Tried it with a guy in my friendlist.
I'm very similar to the guy who made/uploaded the video - when it comes to what the build is about.

Playing it on a lvl 90 witch, about 6k ES, 8 Auras, Arctic Armour,10.5k Armour Spectral Throw. Using Shav + Crown of Eyes. What's probably important to mention at this point is, that I would never do that "snap shotting kind of thing" that allows me to use more auras than I could, else it would make no sense to make this thread.

However, the build I play is created all by myself - and I definitely don't have the best play style - but one that fits my own exceptions from myself pretty well.
I feel to constantly improve my gear/play style and build overall, but not in a way where I feel like I would not be fair anymore, considered what the community as a whole is expecting to be fair.

The guy in the video, in my opinion does not deserve any sick atziri uniques if he has to play and "win" like he does. I mean he has like 5 mirrored items equipped and everything else is good too, and still he needs to abuse stuff + spread it on the internet how cool he was doing something without any problems.

And after that I ask myself yeah, cool and this is really what the developers of the game wish? The game is pretty hard for the most people playing it, I mean I play over a year now, and I played it a lot. I traded a lot, I farmed a lot, I played uncountable maps.

It even took me a shitload of time to finally create my own build, cause I was so bad at understanding how the different mechanics of the game work together.

And I can be honest and say that, I'll probably never be able to kill the uber atziri, maybe not even the normal atziri, cause I do got a good build, with good stuff, and not the worst play style either - but then seeing other people abuse stuff just to "win" the game, to be in a better position than like 90% or more of the community - that makes me wanna leave the game at some point.

And I know other guys feel the same, other guys feel the opposite. Each to his own, and like somebody in this thread mentioned, it's not even the players fault (in the first place) it's up to GGG how they handle their stuff.

But yeah so far so good, it would not be the first time I'm trying to leave this game.
Actually I wanna see how everything processes while I'll wait to catch another game that has a good concept that in the end fits my personal expectations more than what happens here in this game over and over again.

it's only GGG's fault that such abuse of auras snapshotting and then skill respecing is possible and not discouraged by them.

the game is not hardcore for that player, it's hardcore for the monsters he rapes.

Yes he is cheating. He is using a script to use all his flasks at once.
