To continue the feedback.. met the new spectral throw exile. Very easy fight, her vaal spectral throw was nothing special either. So don't fear her.
Met Antalie Napora once again, this time in a minus max crema. Luckily I was duoing with a puncture character who was able to land a devastating crit. She is quite scary and has no real weakness beyond hit and run. I think she needs to be nerfed, vaal burning arrow is the single most devestating move in the game outside max flameblast/discharge. A fast hitting archer exile should not be able to do so much damage. You can't dodge her properly or do much beyond having total physical immunity. " if devs buff her we know who to blame!
you dont have to kill them you can skip them... and if they are one shotting you thats your problem from rolling maps with added damage and your lack of gear. dont roll hard maps if you cant handle it

" Wow, such wisdom. You really know all the answers. Seriously tho, you are fine with skipping a lot of content and only doing blue maps if you're not using one of the builds that trivialize most of the content (block/spell block and a few others)? I suppose your logic applies to Invasion bosses too? From what I can tell (haven't tested myself yet), the new templar exile seems pretty dangerous/op. I Also read somewhere that Igna was given Vaal Fireball, is that true? Last edited by MIIKKAAA#7563 on Apr 9, 2014, 5:36:40 PM

I was taking a leisurely stroll through lunaris on my way to have tea with piety and ask for her permission to marry spinecrack, when ALL OF A SUDDEN.
I ran into that archer that uses lightning arrow. my 7k zombies were losing >1/3 of their life PER HIT and i was running PURITY OF LIGHTNING. I was on a test run using skellies which i don't usually do. if I hadn't been able to spam skellies things would have gotten very bad. Things almost did get very bad. Lost 6 7k zombies in about 4 sec AND I HAD HER CORNERED. Had she been able to run around in open terrain i would have been through a portal and resetting the instance. That's just ridiculous. nerf/buff/nerf/buff. GGG needs a bigger test team. They do play test, right ?! |

"Xandro: Yeah, he is kind of a big old gear/numbers check in a way. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, however, provided that there is only one "Xandro" in the group of Rogues. Also, Xandro can stunlock (well, softlock; I haven't ever been 100% stunlocked by him) fairly easily, so it's not purely a question of whether I can outpace his regen; I also need to outpace his damage. It just so happens that, with my build, he's at a very nice level of challenge for me, which makes him fun to spar with. Most of the time I can take him, certain map affixes can make it so I can't. Igna: Apparently I have a specialized build? I find her to be an extremely engaging fight, definitely no pushover, I die if I'm careless, but totally winnable. Best of all, she retreats, so it leads to these epic hit-and-run types of battles where she often leads me through new territory, forcing me to manage the local monsters while I pursue to keep her ES off cooldown (this is where a lot of the "die if careless" comes in). Makes me feel like I'm in some kind of Path of Exile action movie, which is to say: awesome. Minara: So far I haven't noticed particularly bad desync (some, but very minor)... but I haven't fought her in anything but wide open areas yet. I can only imagine the horror of running into her in a confined space; it would be like fighting Dominus in a Tunnel map. Add in doorway desync and I can see how a manageable fight could become unwinnable. Is there any way to lure her to a location of your choosing (the most wide-open area in any given map, in this case)? Actually I haven't ran into Antalie Napora since the new patch. (The Vaal RoA exile isn't overtuned.) So I can't really comment on that one. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. I did Minara in an Arachnid Nest today, and it was the usual "winnable, but bad" that seems to be the new standard for boss fights in PoE. I saw the blue skeletons pop up, and then the general appeared vaguely on my screen and I lost around 2k life. I swapped my ST to faster projectiles mode and positioned myself to be able to crunch down the minions while offscreening her. I only saw her pop Vaal skellies once, but I have no idea if it's actually on a CD. I just ran as far away as possible until they expired.
It seems as if the thought process was "We made Vaal skills, let's put them on more monsters" with absolutely no thought to the balance or costing of those abilities. This is why no one is having trouble with the ST Scion--Vaal ST barely does any more damage than vanilla.
yeah some of them are op but they are so damn fast they are desync masters which is annoying ;0

" I don't think it was GGG intention to make content just so we can skip it =)... Anyways the vaal summon skeleton spam is a huge fps drop and pain in the ass. Necronomicon: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1617098
