Rogue Exiles "Overtuned" since last patch 1.12

i think one of the new exiles one hit killed my witch yesterday with some fire discharge.

not complaining, with 2k life and 1,5k shield she's kinda fragile but i couldn't see the exile under the cluttered loot the level 70 map was plastered with.

monsters need to be displayed on top of the loot, not buried underneath.

Some examples of crazy map mods I've done with this build:

This post leaves me wondering if this "skill play" testing was done on hardcore? Else it is completely redundant as an argument on how skill-play builds are still possible given how poe performs technically.

@op 30/50% is to drastic, but i agree some of them are designed to take out some people in invasion again.

im not buying any MT's since the 1.0 release with totally destroyed build diversity, so that only 2-3 builds per league are top tier and everything else is totally garbage.

as for not buying anything: i'm on boykott as well until there are sheep implemented as pets, brutus is renamed to "the butcher" and i'm able to use custom face skins on dominus and piety!!1

as for build diversity:
could you be more specific? which builds? and which changes on 1.0 forced this builds to be overpowered?

I've fought almost all of them since the patch, and for the most part everything's good. In fact, I strongly believe the Scion is undertuned and needs to kick some more ass.

Magnus Stonethorn, on the other hand, is overtuned as a motherfucker, in the exact same way Invaders tend to be: an "avoid me or die" Flameblast, not nearly enough time to actually avoid it.


Wait until you run into her on a 77. Her minions life (and thus their instability) is... questionable.

But Igna and Xandro are not on the same tier, unless that were changed substantially. Xandro is quite easy, I beat him with no problem even with my weak self-found Ambush summoner while Igna was for me only doable on my high spell block tank.

As I see, GGG implemented another batch of "skip me" content... what is a point in wasting time for beating exile to get in return bunch of blue items with occasional vendor grade rare?

Lol, lets see:

* Xandro - most boring & onedimensional exile ever. If the equation says you do more damage then he leeches, then you win, just hold down attack button.

* Igna - most overtuned exile ever. A counter to everything except a few specialized builds.

* Minara - most laggy exile ever. Good luck with FPS drops, desync & exploding minions.

If anything these three are good examples of what's wrong with PoE combat.

Sorry, but not even close to Igna. I still find her a faceroll exile. Xandro was also never in Igna's league, any tanky build can actually stay in his face and kill him in 20 seconds.I commented on this in another topic so will repaste what I said.

Faced 15+ exiles today. Will give opinions on some(met many of the same ones).

Armios Bell: If they did buff him I sure didn't notice it. Saw no vaal skills and he was easy as ever.

Antalie Napora: She has gotten a lot stronger. Faced her in academy with no damage mods where her vaal burning arrow was doing 3k+. All her normal arrows hit extremely hard too(pretty sure got buffed). My friend who uses ondars was scared of her even.

Ash Lessard: His EK is as strong as ever but no noticeable buffs.

Damoi Tui: I think he got tankier but it's hard to tell with mapmods. He was a real pain to deal with, extremely tanky.

Ion Darkshroud: No noticeable buff. Seemed easy enough.

Tinevin Highdove(spark guy): So I fought him in a 4 extra projectile residence. My duo partner instantly died when he used vaal spark. It was in a small room and he did 750 sparks at once... Beware of this exile, extremely dangerous in indoor maps(especially minus max/multiple projectile).

Jonah Unchained: Pretty sure he does higher damage now but hard to tell. Hit hard but was manageable. Saw no vaal skill.

Minara Anemina(summoner): Uses vaal skeletons which have minion instability. It does reasonably high damage but I'm a ranged build so she was a pushover like always. Be very cautious in minus max maps but I faced her 4 times in a variety of maps and she was always the least dangerous exile.

Orra Greengate: Heard she uses vaal ROA but did not see it. Fought her in a vulnerability map and she seemed manageable enough. The other archer exile is a lot more dangerous.

Kinda wanted to meet magus to see how strong he is. The only ones I'd say got much stronger are the spark exile(the only one that managed to kill anyone in my duo) and Antalie(archer).
