[Official] Kripp Wand Templar

I'm wondering why the complete build doesn't have the 16% chaos resist point... 1 point seems worth it. I'll probably be picking it up after health nodes, then head toward more power charges.

I've been following this build since Kripp posted it on youtube (day 3 of open beta). Unlike him though I started as Shadow. (just for a change) Faced a lot of difficulties with it since that was my 1st character and started with 0 currencies. Now I'm almost 76 .. do 5.2k. single target (6 Power charges), around 1k. for multiple enemies, got 2.7k. mana and 2.3k. health (I know I need to raise that up but .. costs a lot) also don't have a single quality gem haha.
The build is very strong and has pretty good survivability. Thank you Kripp.

I know it is kinda offtopic, but I'd like to ask you guys if you have any "leftover" or for sale gears for this build in HC for around lvl 50 or so. I'll make the transition to wands soon and I need some gear ready.

By the way, Kripp recommends using 2 Brightbeaks in the weapon swap slot. Why?

Is my wand worth exalting for this build?



can wand rolls +24% ias? is 10% max?
is the +% lightning damage near max?

some affixes are only for 1H , others for 2H
its not written in the affix list.

The physical damage doesn't scale well. Players only get + elemental dmg passives because there are so many aura sources of damage. Also, the weapon elemental damage gem is really strong.

Power siphon goes from 15 to 16 mana at lvl 5 and lvls only increase physical damage, which isn't multiplied by any passives or weapon attributes. 1 mana doesn't seem like much but it is a 6.2% mana increase and all his support gems multiply on that.

It has 1 Prefix (added lightning damage), 2 Suffix right now.

List of good prefixes it can still roll:

Added Fire Damage
Added Cold Damage
Added Physical Damage (ok, but not amazing)
Added Physical Damage/Accuracy Hybrid (ok, but not amazing)
Gem Level

List of good suffixes left:

Local crit
Global crit
Global crit multiplier
Accuracy

I would say it's worth 1 exalt, 2 or more might be stretching it, unless you get a godly roll with the first one. My list is probably incomplete but it gives you a general idea.

I wouldn't exalt it... I think you could get a wand like that with 1 more ele for an exalt if you're patient. Unless you're on HC, but I think it says default league?
