Framerate drops rapidly

Radeon 7970gHz edition and get freqent spikes all the way to singel digit sometimes, some solution to this would be pretty nice.

Just swapped from a 5870 to an 7970 GHZ ed also, I experience the same spikes.
However the old card just had general drops under high action enviorments, the new card has fast short spikes but it can happen with only 1 mob on the screen.

Went from 7970 to Nvidia 680.

Problem solved.

Expensive, but hassle free.

Never AMD/ATI again.

Runs perfect in most cases. Tried ALL COMBINATIONS OF SETTINGS.

HUGE FPS DROPS ON SOME OTHER CASES.
Order by annoyance:

Lightning Arrow
Docks
Burning Ground
Discharge
Poison Arrow
Summon Skeleton

RANDOM FPS DROPS:
Sometimes when opening chat.
Random enemies with various skills.
Entering certain areas (merveil's lair)

bumping for great justice

It's comforting that I'm not alone. Radeon 6950 here and on lowest settings game drops from 120+ FPS to 0 way too often in Act 3.
