I'm Unhappy I Put As Much Money As I Did In This Game
don't know and that sentence you quoted makes no sense, what does it mean?

" You forgot to change it to (RMTing/cheatings) streamers. Several longtime streamers got a dubious history or shady stuff going on. Also the devs switched to reddit because it can easily be manipulated and contains less criticism and more useless threads like: "Oh look I used a vaal orb on x" |

" Also they can get stuff removed from reddit without being the one taking the heat for said action. If they start deleting stuff here (even on accident) then we're screaming at them, stuff vanishes on reddit and if it doesn't slip under the radar then reddit takes the heat and have to try to uselessly to blame it back onto ggg (even if it was on accident). And with the upvote/downvote system there its much easier to make stuff vanish or appear more often when they wish it to, and that allows them to hide stuff without actually deleting it or just moving it to the feedback forum here to die and to make stuff seem more popular then it actually is. It's basically reflective armor from people flaming them over issues.... Last edited by Jiero#2499 on Mar 23, 2014, 5:31:04 PM

" Allow me to give a bit of information on the points I have highlighted. Whilst I whole heartedly support GGG in there journey of making Path of Exile, you must also remember you released it for EVERYONE ELSE to play. BREAK: This is not a rage post so please don't take this in any way other then me shining some light on the subjects I have pointed out. If i may compare this situation to another company, Blizzard. If you take a look at World of Warcraft, these same symptoms happened. They wanted to design the game THEIR way, with minimal to very little feedback from the players whom they created the game for. End game kept progressing whilst leveling became assinine.(Where as leveling is easy here, end game is assinine.) This is an example of focusing on new aspects of gameplay without fixing underlying/existing problems already introduced(IE, Leveling in WoW). You guys just released a large content addition, therefor my reccomendation would be to fix OLDER LARGER problems introduced, not the latest small ones. New content is great, but leaving issues behind to try to keep older players content isn't always the best option. If trading was improved some way, bosses were given loot tables, even if it means nerfing drop rate, it would bring meaning back to trading and farming. It makes new players anxious to play, and it also makes old players happier to be able to do old trading or farming with more efficency and easier usage. |

+1: Think again about the main development plan, stop adding more on top of something that many are complaining about already.
What is the point in focusing on end game when many stop playing before that? This will only reinforce your most hardcore player base but you're casual players will move away and new players quit the game. Leveling is boring for many players because of too excessive use of RNG, GGG tries to address this with NEW content but in fact a better idea to address it in EXISTING content Improving drops in general (not only for new content) will make farming more rewarding and it will rebalance the economy. The value of orbs is totally disproportionally compared to their usability at the moment. Last edited by Startkabels#3733 on Mar 23, 2014, 7:08:54 PM

" They will just remove something from the frontpage. I could easily manipulate reddit into upping critical threads they will just be removed from Frontpage after some hours. Look at the top redditthread RMT shame on a user who should be banned alongside with Panko. It will be removed from frontpage once it dropped a bit. " If you take MMO shit as example take MMORPGs that were considered as massive fail. How about FF14. Even Betaplayers said it sucked and it resulted in a huge failure. GGG doesn't use the forum anymore and keeps to push their stuff through just like FF14. Just like the FF devs said:"We make our stuff you will like it" and then the entire team got fired. The GGG way to say it like "Invasion/Ambush is tons of fun" but they do everything their way. You can't design your own uniques a dev will more or less talk you into your item. Brother Laz said that he designed some uniques and several uniques several mods changed, so in fact they tried to get some snippets of the Median XL community. This isn't an expected drop of the playerbase this is a drop because of poor gamedecisions and unfixed issues and desync isn't the main reason. There is stuff I detest and it isn't getting fewer. This has nothing to do with "burned out". I can start any less grindy ARPG and have fun. I just hate MMORPGs from the bottom of my heart and everything MMOesque is pissing me off. " You should have read my feedback some days after OB kicked in. The devs had the feeling to add more and more MMORPG factors to the game more or less influenced by MMORPG players. You didn't play CB but in CB for example if you fought weaver you had a large random chest which dropped good items. Later the chest got removed and the drops improved. Random chests and thicket chests had good drops. In OB they stealth nerfed the large chests and turned them into garbage cans. And with SotV they possibly stealth removed them because nobody liked them. I haven't seen a single randomchest so far. On top of that you get trolled by devs like "Are you sure it's all about luck with midnight fragments" and the patch notes read--->Improved the dropchance of rarer fragments. So it was a shitty low number on droptables after all. There might be a 4th act but that's it for the game imo. The way it is now it will survive 2 more years. 12k peak on Steamcharts next season, 8-10k peak the season after that one and then the resets won't have got any effect at all. Trading won't be fixed with those massive RMT problems. And the only statement is the "1000 accounts daily ban" or "we buy stuff from chinafarmers"(because the game is popular in china sure in the reset leagues the top players are Europeans or North Americans) Just check where high tier streamers or players obtain certain their items or currency. And then all we hear is "droprates are fine" |

haven't had time to look into grim dawn.
how do they manage to motivate you to play after you brought 3-4 chars to endgame, got them fully geared with uber items and faceroll content? do they bring out a expansion which raises the level cap and nerfs ALL your progress at ONCE by making your endgame gear just midgame gear? will your complain then and leave the game or rather play the expansion? age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" before SotV high end players complained about missing goals for their chars, maps were boring and repetitive, no challenge, bla blubb. then they release content for high end players and immediately the other half of people who didn't get to endgame yet, complains... age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" trading is really bad, i don't like to trade over the forum either... yet. i don't how a more effective (offline) trading system would change the game, it would probably make the game much easier for alot of midgame players when people like me release their (pretty good but not exceptional) stuff into the game for a fusing or two. " i agree that gameplay isn't much rewarding, but everytime i want to switch off the game because of it, something drops for me :) and i would vote for the drop chance of regals to be nearly equal to alchemy orbs. sure you have better chances to roll something decent with regals than with alchs as some properties are already there but as it is now it's not worth applying them to midgame jewelery because they're so rare. the regal recipe is unreachable for average players. there could be different orbs for crafting midgame items which drop more often (i think scrotie suggested it some time ago) @slotmachine: the lottery/slot machine behaviour of the game is what keeps people like me with 2 hours/day playtime going. if the game would provide a steady progression for cafting/dropping, when a new league starts all these kids with 20 hours playtime/day would be running their 3rd char with uber items, flooding the market with 6 linked chests while my ice witch is still trying to manage mercyless docks. sure this wouldn't effect but heavily demotivate me. and demotivated people don't spend money while people with 3 hours/day playtime statistically have the most money to spend. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! Wait....
Chris said that he received overwhelmingly positive feedback on SoTV? Where? This website contains a crapload of negative feedback in regards to the RNG of the fragments, RNG of the vaal orbs, overtuned bosses, etc etc I mean its one thing to say that they feel SoTV has gone well but to say "overwhelmingly positive" sounds ridiculous to me. For my personal opinion since I haven't fought atziri yet I won't comment on the difficulty of the fight. I imagine the difficulty is fine and I don't really mind that the vast majority of the playerbase will not beat her but I do have a problem that people can't even attempt the fight because they can't find a damn midnight fragment and they cost too much. Also Corrupted areas suck for anyone who doesn't have low lvl characters to play. I'm not going to just start a new character jsut because thats the only way to find corrupted areas without mindlessly farming on your uber character who will gain no exp and little gear while he does it. Also its annoying that the devs don't communicate a little more with players complaining about these things. It would be easier to have faith in you guys if you say something about it instead of silence or trolling that we just have to figure it out. Standard Forever
