Thiz. Some here people like to think that "PoE Came out perfect, never needed to fix/change anything, and has always been that way, and always will when it's not the fact. It's actually become a lot better since i first tried it, does that mean it should stop trying to improve?

Before people go to offended land, they should think what their actions might lead to, a game that stopped changing, and growing because some people thought that it was always perfect.

You seem to think their lack of information or 'useful' tools is a failing on there part. They can certainly emulate any resource you can find elsewhere. They choose not to, its a choice. Like the creators of Dark Souls who make their mechanics purposefully obtuse and hidden, it isn't because they messed up its because that is the design they chose.

Once you grasp this then everything gets better. True they need to fix any false or misleading information that may be communicated to the player, but they certainly aren't obligated to provide more information.

I think that this guy came from D3 and wants the devs to spoon feed him everything so he has his perfectly optimized build with zero mistakes. Where he does not have to put forth any effort to learn from experience like all good gamers do when they are new to a game or a class. He is asking GGG to hand all of that stuff on a silver platter just because he plays their game.

Look those third party sites actually show the love that players have for this game. Simply because they do love this game to make such sites so players like us can use them and benefit from them. Also such sites as wikis are good for those that do not have a good memory for certain things or are new to the game. You just do not want to put in the effort to learn how to do those things yourself.

Also how do you think that players with optimized builds got them. Well you might say they copied. But the one they copied from no doubt had to break out the spreadsheets and do some trial and error (bad word to you) and learn from their mistakes in order to get the perfect build.

And I thought that these forums did not have as much trouble as the D3 boards.

Another game that he would not like is called "The Secret World". Because in that game you have to do some research, even though you can do it without leaving the game. I wouldn't have learned that Antonio Vivaldi is the composer of the song "The Four Seasons" of 1716.

i guess this will also make the game less 'challenging'(as some people think), instead of making it more sensible and less waste of time haha. I was also gonna ask them to make Items "RiGHT CLICK TO EQUIP", ( it's been more than 2 years since it came out, i think).

Also one thing i couldn't understand; Some people who use the other tools outside the game argued to me about why they don't need to change the passive tree in game, because we can do the checking and all on the websites and all.

Is the the purpose of a game? To create a system that Causes players to constantly go to external sources for information and insight because PoE is too Vague about fully describing anything in the game, and then they come here and say " There is no need to change the skill tree, just use the tools outside, they're handy" , Don't these kinds of people Realise that they are LITERALLY Doing the same thing, but only with 0 Restrictions and 100 times more detail, since PoE Tree Really Didn't make much use of it's potential.

So much build potential, But each build takes the gap of 1 character to be tested, It's like the Snake eating it's own tail, Created something great, then Created something Equally as bad to counter it(knowing or unknowingly or just misjudged).

They are Passive trees outside the game, made to supplement everything that the GAME FAILED TERRIBLY AT PROVIDING THE PEOPLE WITH, so all of you go to these softwares, which let you use points that you DID NOT EARN in the game, ability to see numerical details which you DO NOT HAVE in game, Ability to reset and go any new build every 5 seconds which is also NOT in the game, AND ALL THE FUCKS LIKE YOU, USE IT, AND PRETEND LIKE IT MAKES NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE!, WHY DON'T YOU STOP USING IT AT ALL, IF IT MAKES SO MUCH OF ""NO"" ""DIFFERENCE"". Please, go ahead and use the tools, go ahead and give self-justifications to why using the tool is the same as not using it. Keep telling yourself how you don't have a game breaking advantage over THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS who are new to the game. You seem to not take into consideration the thousands of players who WILL NOT know about the passive tree even for months to come, will keep having to re roll, when they could just copy a build and NEVER RE ROLL( don't tell yourself that it doesn't work and nobody does that). SO PoE Fails at making the Passive tree fool-proof ^. Remember this every time you use a skill point that you never earned, on one of those tools, that you are having such an advantage over another person, something that he would have to re roll to get here just for the chance to test 1 single build.


Well, they surely aren't obligated to Give any information, if they want to, hell it's their game, they can do whatever they want, ( well not always).

But Then neither am i obligated to either bother understanding the skill tree or to even bother putting a single point with my own decision. I should've just copied a build lol, What i am gonna do now is; Play the remaining classes, Stop playing with characters who become unviable, Re roll a shadow again(first character) and copy everything.. or as people say "come up with it" or "reference and research".

I guess you are right, it's only fair :D.


Oh, did i forget to mention how these tools also allow you to Download your WHOLE INVENTORY+ CURRENT TREE+BASE STATS+ WHATEVER AMOUNT OF SKILL POINTS YOU WANT+ ANY LEVEL YOU WANNA SEE YOUR POINTS AFFECTING.

And please, Do.Not. use Dark souls as a comparison to this game. This game does not Stand even close to it.And its a different genre. I'll be honest; i think PoE is too shallow in too many aspects to be compared to Dark Souls. Playing Dark Souls, I Could just Stand in Ash Lake and be entertained for a week, just by it's music. Also Making the LORE HIDDEN from plain sight is DIFFERENT to Hiding Vital information about the skill point i'm about to spend.

And Talking about the hidden lore and details, In Dark Souls, These CAN ALL BE FOUND IN THE GAME BY PAYING ATTENTION TO THE WORLD AND CONNECTED TO FORM A CONCLUSIVE STORY and give good understanding of the game world.

That game has a community that doesn't mind criticizing the game to help it improve. You are wrong when you say "mechanics are hidden". They are not. when you sit on a bonfire, with enough souls for 100 level ups, Each Level added, will SHOW EXACT NUMERICAL AND PERCENTILE CHANGES WITHOUT HAVING TO SAVE IT. THERE IS A REASON WHY A DS BUILDER DOESN'T EXIST, BECAUSE THE GAME DOESN'T LEAVE THE NEED FOR IT.


Most of the PoE community is just a bunch of friends telling their Fat friend that he's not fat, and he's perfect and doesn't need to ever lose weight, so he'll stay fat forever, partially because he was given reassurance.


Do you realise that this game, PoE, allows people to Cheat off builds, BUY ITEMS, BUY GEMS, CURRENCY, WITH REAL MONEY, Its GGG who let is still happen HAHAHA. Oh and they allow people to use tools and shit, BUT OOOOHHH, ALlowing 1 Weekly Reset is gonna " Break the game" Booohooo, "and we hardcore guys won't have fun" Because gaime no chellnge me nao since tey fiz teh Piss tree".
