Items which meet multiple requirements should reap multiple rewards.

i agree, the trade between player and NPC should be fair.

this would definitely remove the "he just screwed me over" feeling when he offers me an augmentation orb [value of 5 alteration shards] instead of 12 alteration shards and 2 alchemy shards...

It would be really kool if an item like this would sell for a Bauble and an Alch Shard.

Request makes total sense for me.

Let's say you drop a 6S item that happens to have a RGB link.
Does it meet the 7x Jeweller's Orb recipe requirements? Yes.
Does it meet the Chromatic Orb recipe requirements? Yes.
Do you get both rewards? NO.
Why? Because no. Pretty logical..
Rekt.

+1, it would be fair and wouldn't ruin their precious economy imo

This has annoyed me too at times, however from previous GGG comments on this issue the vendor system currently looks up the highest priority on a list of recipes, but doesn't search for all possible recipes. You want to change it to use multiple recipes.

How far would you take this? Would every item sold include one wisdom fragment along with whatever else? Could you sell 2 20% weapons for 3 whetstones (2 20s and a 40)? It isn't as simple a fix as you are making out.

Personally I think I'd prefer special combinations given their own recipe with something unexpected, than just combine existing recipes.

But, there are still some situations when the recipe priority is in the wrong order. Pretty sure I got a fragment for a 20% blue item with stun chance or mana regeneration the other day. Scroll fragment recipes should always be the lowest priority.

It's just, so dumb .. 3 Alt Shards? Are you blind? Those gloves are shiny as hell.
Nigga, gimme back dem gloves. Keep your niggardly Alt Shards.

I am in perfect agreement with this request, it just makes sense.

The inconsistency of being able to receive more than one recipe per item when in regards to alt shards and alch shards (think rare item with both fire and chaos resistance, as well as high life) but not when in regards to other orb types.

For those who have mentioned that this might have a negative effect on the economy, and have an even worse effect on new players, I say this. That only makes sense if you think of these orbs as solely currency, and not the crafting tools which they can be used for.
It was mentioned that most people hoard the orbs, and only the rich few actually use them for crafting. I would argue that this is BECAUSE they are so rare, and suggest that if the orbs were more common, their primary use might shift toward crafting rather than currency.

Crafting items can be a lot of fun, and is currently quite orb intensive to get an acceptable result. This wouldn't change from allowing more orbs to be obtained. The only difference would be that it would be an option for more of the player base. Top end items would still require the same amount of luck when crafting them and would remain rare in comparison to good but not great items. This is because most of the player base would stop rerolling an item when they get to a reasonable roll, and would then continue playing the game.

In my opinion, this change would decrease the gap between brand new or very poor players, and the middle of the road wealth players. The gap from there to the top would see very little effect, because the orbs used to get to the top end of crafting (eternal, and exalts) are not included in the vendor recipes.

Also more vendor recipes being accepted at once would potentially decrease the luck aspect of racing, and allow for more consistent access to reasonable equipment.
Dweep.

The vendor rewards are currently too exclusive.

A 20% Quality white item with RGB-link will not get you a Scrap/Whetstone,
whereas a 20% Quality white item with no notable sockets will. TOO EXCLUSIVE.
MORE INCLUSIVE.

20% Quality should equal a Scrap/Whetstone, period.

RBG-link should equal a Chromatic, period;
2x RGB-link on the same item is debatable, but 2x Chromatics would be really cool.

6 sockets should always equal 7 Jeweller's, less the case of being 6-linked;
6 links should override 6 sockets because logical.
