Overall the pricing isn't incredibly unreasonable on most things, stash tabs and skill effects seem to be pretty on par, cosmetic gear effects aren't overly ridiculous in the point department either. They would make more sales if they increased the point payout per dollar a bit but overall people will buy the stuff in due time anyways, what is ridiculous is some of those pets as someone else has stated, a $50 pet is something i've yet to see in any micro-transaction shop i've witnessed (and i've seen quite a few in my vast array of games tried.)
Yeah ik what you mean about the pet. Its not even that GREAT and its 50$ imagine the pricing when a cool pet comes out...100$?
Then why do you want it?

sorry - but how does selling more items for a lower price generate more money than selling less for more? and why does it bother you that there is a pet for 50$? if you don't think it's worth it then don't buy it. simple as that.
WOW your stubborn. if you sell 5 lemonades and price them each 20$ youll get 100$ right? But if you sell your lemonades for 10$ you will most likely get WAAAAAY MOOORE customers so you will probably get like 20 customers meaniing you make 200$ instead. People like cheap stuff and will buy more if its all cheap. Just look at LoL its what they did and its the reason there swimming im MILLIONS of dollars ;)
LoL was not crowdfunded to begin with.
;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
Would anybody like some... POUNDCAKE?

dude, that's how economics work, prices are set by what people are able/willing to pay. If 100 people will pay $20 for the flaming basilisk, they will make more money and more customers happy, than if only 10 people play $50 for it.
and you guarantee these speculated 10 times higher numbers in sold items if ggg cuts the price in half? thats not economic ... thats naive miscalculation in my opinion

I've always wanted a Porsche 911 Carrera ever since I was a boy. It's my dream car - it looks cool, it rides smooth, it's what I've always wanted.
Unfortunately, my income does not allow for such. That doesn't give me the right to continually contact Porsche to let them know that they need to lower the prices of their automobiles just so that I can buy it. They'd laugh at me.
Buying cool, special, fast, good-quality, awesome things usually come at a price in the real world. That's how businesses operate.

God I hate these open beta people so much... Why was this never a problem in closed beta with the kiwi birds?

Now heres the problem with your analogy. It actually takes ALOT of money to build a Porsche but these item effects take like like an hour or less to make.

im ok with the prices of the items and im a huge fan of this game the only thing that bugs me is that 10$ only gets u 96 in store points kinda sucks if u want to buy something 100 points and u have to spend 20$

And here's where yours is. This is their ONLY income. Not only does this pay for the cosmetic. It pays for the servers that you're free to play on, the developers and designers to live so that they can continue to make new content for you FREE, etc.
Sorry, but the pricing just isn't in the cosmetic itself.

good question. why didn't op go diamond in the first place? if the diamond kiwi and the rest of the deal wasn't worth it why is there suddenly such a problem with a giant insect for 50$ that no one has to buy to play the game ...
@not much of an effort to make the effect: the mt shop is to support development - nothing more. you don't pay for an actual service. if you don't think they deserve your money just keep it.
