Were not "bitching". We understand that this game is near PERFECT and i really do love how its free. I understand that they are selling cheap stuff but thats just it, its "cheap" bland and boring. I want to be able to buy the fancy stuff for just a few less bucks so I can buy MORE stuff. Which would be supporting this game more and im sure many other people agree.

And if plenty are already providing enough revenue then there's no reason for GGG to lower their price. In the end, the market will dictate the price. If you are right, you'll get your wish. But if you are wrong then you'll just have to do without the more fancy effects or be willing to pay premium price. That's how it is in every consumer market. This game is no different.

A lot of people have been comparing this shop to the LoL shop, some people say that it is a stupid comparison, and it kind of is, but lets roll with it anyway.

In League of Legends when you buy a skin you are buying it for 1 champion, meaning you only get to show off your cool skin when you play that particular hero, and a lot of their skins don't have any new animations, they're just texture/model/particle replacements, which are significantly easier to make than something from scratch.

In Path of Exile, all the microtransactions you buy can be used on every single character. All 24 slots unless you buy more. You're getting more opportunities to show off than you are with a purchase in LoL.

Honestly, if you are complaining about the price of something that you don't have to buy in order to enjoy hours upon hours of this free ass game, you're kind of a scumbag. They're giving you the option to either mooch off of their hard work, or help support the game. And you're upset because you can't get the SPECIFIC bonus items you want for the SPECIFIC amount you want to spend? There are weapon effects, spell effects, pets, and stash features that you can get with a $5 pack... you guys are just being greedy.

Reminds me of the Hell on Earth 2006 South Park episode, when Satan gets the Acura cake instead, lol.

I'd expect price lowering when they have more vanity options. Each piece requires effort on the small developmental team and when it's new it's going to be at it's most pricey, down the line when new and better effects come up, the prices aren't just going to progressively get bigger and bigger. New things will replace old and old things will become cheaper.

At least, that's how I see it happening. I personally haven't bought anything besides 4 premium tabs and Frost Nova reskin. I too think the prices are high. There is nothing I want enough to pay the prices for.

As long as old items become cheap and new items become the new items for luxury players, then hopefully it works out in the end.

What I find strange is that these item's have the "sale" on them and the prices are already up there. I'd hate to see their offsale prices.

I won't complain to much though, I enjoy playing PoE. I don't need any vanity items to enjoy this game, and I'm patient enough to see if they realize that lower prices for everything but big ticket items would be better.

Oh of course! (Truthfully, I think I'd need 10 friends with me anyway if I was seriously going to try this- emotional support for trying something stupid, after all! XD)
