Microtransactions a bit too pricey?
" I understand what youre saying and I have the funds just not willing to let go of 50$ for a pet...but youre missing the point this game can get way more supported if they just reduce there prices just look at LoL its so succesful because the skins are pretty cheap and they change the complete look of your character. |

" But then again, "...Here are people who want to spend money, and you are telling them not to bother" - There are cheaper effects. There is an option. How much cheaper do you think the items should be ? " That's what i meant, thank you. Last edited by Shadowness_#1803 on Jan 27, 2013, 3:20:59 PM

While I do consider certain items a bit too pricey, primarily the fire basilisk pet, I think all in all the prices are "fair" if you take in consideration that you could buy ONE effect, and use it over and over and on any character you've made.
Would anybody like some... POUNDCAKE?

I hope to see more, it does cost abit more I think but it needed so they can make money. I am looking and waiting for more stuff to buy and private servers. I cant stand the OB chat really turning me off to the game.
I would pay a monthly fee to not play with all the newbs |

No, I think they are so pricey to the point where GGG is going to lose money over it. It's so expensive to where many people will say, "pretty cool, but not worth $20" Where if they halved the price, people would pay the $20 and get 2x the items for it.

Overall the pricing isn't incredibly unreasonable on most things, stash tabs and skill effects seem to be pretty on par, cosmetic gear effects aren't overly ridiculous in the point department either. They would make more sales if they increased the point payout per dollar a bit but overall people will buy the stuff in due time anyways, what is ridiculous is some of those pets as someone else has stated, a $50 pet is something i've yet to see in any micro-transaction shop i've witnessed (and i've seen quite a few in my vast array of games tried.)

sorry - but how does selling more items for a lower price generate more money than selling less for more? and why does it bother you that there is a pet for 50$? if you don't think it's worth it then don't buy it. simple as that.

" Yeah ik what you mean about the pet. Its not even that GREAT and its 50$ imagine the pricing when a cool pet comes out...100$? |

" dude, that's how economics work, prices are set by what people are able/willing to pay. If 100 people will pay $20 for the flaming basilisk, they will make more money and more customers happy, than if only 10 people play $50 for it. |

" WOW your stubborn. if you sell 5 lemonades and price them each 20$ youll get 100$ right? But if you sell your lemonades for 10$ you will most likely get WAAAAAY MOOORE customers so you will probably get like 20 customers meaniing you make 200$ instead. People like cheap stuff and will buy more if its all cheap. Just look at LoL its what they did and its the reason there swimming im MILLIONS of dollars ;) |
