Sean's DW Blood Tanky DPS
" I have to be honest, I got to lv30 and I am struggling staying alive. I have decent resists, and I am over-leveled for the areas I am in, but I am constantly near death and having to run away, spamming health pots. I have felt this way since around 28-ish and it has been an uphill struggle since. I may have to abandon this character/build, I am not sure it suits me. Good luck with it tho. |

" Post your items, I had simillar issues until i discovered that if i equip items with +Health on them my health pool goes thru the roof and all is easy again. Same with weapons. Try to kill white mob with Dual strike. How many hits it takes for you to kill one using Dual Strike only ? |

" What's the ratio to know that we're good ? one, two hits ? |

" The ratio to know when you're good is when you don't get one-shot. If you can't die, the monster will eventually die. |

" if I am to live thru a white mob attacking him 10 times then it will take me eternity to level ;) For DPS i use 2 Dual Strikes rule to know when i need to upgrade my weapons. For gear - one hit is a benchmark aginst bosse :) but no white/blue/yellow mob should ever ever one shot you unless your resistances are very bad for his attacks. |

Wont quote, but will try to share my experience.
Lordroy, at level 30, I felt like unstoppable monster. Probably because of gear advantage (had few pieces ready in stash). So I guess only thing you need is to upgrade your equipment a bit. About "dual strike test" - for me, 2 hit-kills of average white mob is the level where I want to be. One-shotting them is not necessary, but 3 hits (or even more) is way to much when you get into trouble. Also is important to remember that LS is based on physical damage. The more phys damage dealt, the more life returned. With this build, damage is actually one of factors to survivability (being able to get full life with 1 or 2 cleaves feels important to me). Using: Dual strike + faster attacks + melee phys dmg + life steal Cleave + faster attacks + added cold dmg + life on hit +4% flat life steal (passive + gear). Keep HP and DPS high and you should be progressing up to A3C without serious problems. After that point, I had to start using endurance charges. But still, as long as I have something to hit, I am usually alive. |

wondering which one is better to use for charge?
warlord mark or enduring cry? might need to reroll my duelist because didn't know what I was doing since he is my 1st character. BoomExplosion - Templar (BOOM!) _Sistar_ - Duelist (currently rerolling him) FakeShooter - Ranger (meh LA, iceshot rangerrr) FakeMaster - Shadow (might start when I get everything) Last edited by Laststranger#1667 on Feb 21, 2013, 6:45:51 AM

" I personally prefer Enduring Cry. Charges are guarantied and you can keep them up in boss fights without adds. Also if you start on huge pack without any charges, you can sometimes get 3 in one cast. Dont have free slot on my bars, but guess combination would be best because of Warlord Mark's other effects. guys, should i have armor on my gear or eva?
|

" If you run Iron Reflexes, it doesnt matter. If you dont, I would say balance it (because of combined +%eva +%armor nodes). But no experience with that. |
