Sean's DW Blood Tanky DPS

I got a question, if you pick up the 3 nodes for mana reduc, there's a 10% and 5% and 5% a bit north of Unwavering Stance, does it add up to 20% less cost of skills? Does that work with Blood magic as well since you use life for skills? If so I might pick that up with my Atk Speed based duelist
Hey im just a noob but um does this build use pure armor or evasion rating?
Can we get a link to your character's armour please?

even with +attack speed, +life on hit, and +crit modifier gems on my dual strike/cleave, they only cost 17 health. it doesn't seem worth the 3 passive skill points to reduce that to 16 health.

Currently I'm at 2.14 AS, I go up to 2.5 AS with Frenzy on, my mana pool drains wayyyy too quickly, that does seem to be kind of pointless then, but I was thinking if I didn't go blood magic route, and I put a blood magic support gem which adds about 240ish to the multiplier till you level it up a bit, it'd probably cost around 35'ish for me after I add a life leech as well.

So I'd have Cleave + Life Leech + Faster Attacks + Life Gain on Hit + Blood Magic Support gem

(Life leech later on)

Does it cost 20% total less, because that would make auras cost a lot less for me if I go BM Support gem route and opt out of BM passive node .

yep it makes stuff cost 20% less total. for attack skills it's not a big deal, coz they're cheap - auras should be more worth it because they can easily cost hundreds straight off the bat. for me i'm actually using anger aura right now which reserves 104 health, which i don't even feel with my current health pool, and it bumps up my dps by 150 so it seems like a fair tradeoff.

honestly i'd say give it a shot and tell us the results. by the time you start hitting a gear wall (seems to me to be roughly act 2/3 cruel, magic/unique enemies start having crazy mods like physical reflect auras) you'll have enough respec points to be able to transition to full blood magic very easily should you feel the need to.

hey, nice guide man!

that's my final build:

its little tankier than yours i guess
+185% Armour
+40% evasion
+56% Elemental Resistance
+139% life +30 life

math behind "Iron Reflexes":
Armour= Evasion*(1+DexterityBonus+EvasionBonus+ArmourBonus) + Armour*(1+ArmourBonus)

Interesting, I think I'll be able to stack a few auras then. I just bought a BM gem but I'll start using it when I buy the rest of my auras. I'm currently in A2 normal. ( still very low I know ) True, I'm going to be getting some nodes around BM (the 2% life leech one) and some other life nodes so if I ever want to get it I can instantly grab it. I'm currently upgrading my gear whenever I feel I'm slacking, I'm not doing too bad I'd say, but it's still too early to tell. I'll let you know how it goes if I remember :p

Answer for your question is in first post already. But if you really want it here then ...

Ok, first off you notice I only have 110 points spent. That's because I opted to help Kraityn and get the +8% to all resists, considering most basic All Resist nodes are +6% I considered this to be a very solid choice.

I suppose that is a fair point, but Oak's 40 base health is huge. There are no +40 base health nodes. Especially for a build that needs huge life pool. (I missed a few pages following the OP above, pardon if someone else said this.)
Nice guide, maybe ill try this one next
