And there are people who played less then 300 hours who have soul takers, voltaxic and multi top tier loot.

Since this game is based off of RNG and not socialism or communism where everyone gets equally rich at the same pace, yeah RNG sucks.

The problem with this issue is that people feel entitled to the top tier loot once they played over a certain amount of threshold.

Exactly. If you feel that you NEED soul taker, voltaxic, and shav's to enjoy the game then prepare to be disappointed.

I am enjoying playing the game without any crazy unique's. The best item I have are a pair of nicely rolled rainbowstrides which I found and immediately equipped. I use a 4l chest on a level 80, OMG NOOB! right? I am still having fun...

When did it get to the point that you should expect nothing after spending hundreds of hours... That don't happen anywhere else in life.. I really understand that GGG want this. I just don't understand why players put up with it.
A kid playing computer games can never be — and never has been — hardcore.
OP posts are so full of worst kind elitism, exxageration, lies and putting word in other mouths that is no even funny anymore.

PS. Loot (and not only loot but whole RNGbased stuff) in PoE is just BAD and the game is more trade sim that D3 ever was.
OP is great example of this who can rly enjoy Poe and system designed by GGG and mighty 'i want players to trade not play HnS game" Chris Wilson. Nolifer with lvl 98char that plays 6 hours everyday, probably 90% of time in 6man grups with dedicated MF culler.

Yes. Game is fine. Definitely. ROFL.
Diablo 3? Meh!

Your playing a video game, the only thing you should expect is "fun."

People who play basketball, rugby or football don't expect to join a pro sports time if they spend x amount of time playing the sport.

If you want to be the top 1% of something you have to put time, effort and use every single advantage you can, and very few people "luck it out *aka rng* and just go to the top because of genes or being scouted first.

And to fruther start my argument. I played Nemesis up until like December 8th or so I believe, Then I came to Nemesis.

My current gear:

NOT ONE SINGLE PIECE OF THOSE ITEMS I FOUND MYSELF.

Not only that, 90% of my currency goes towards maps, which after a certain point I just keep having to buy more. Due to the awesome drop rate.

I put in TONS AND TONS AND TONS of man hours playing this over 2 years. On this character, I started fresh on Dom with NOTHING, but I use my "resources" to get what I need because I know drop rates are laughable.

And once again, once I hit level 80 pretty much from the gear I have at that point I NEVER find an upgrade. Ever, and this has been on multiple characters ive taken atleast 8-9 characters to 80+ hc/softcore alike.

You telling me theres no issue? The uniques I have I traded for. The rares I have I have traded for.

If I didn't have MASS SC wealth I probably would have quit because the only way to fund my Dom char was through that. Or through RMTing which I support (I always didnt support RMT either). But I grew up and realised wow, I can grind for 1000 hours and come up empty handed..

Or I can go to work and make well over 15grand in those 1000 hours and satisfy my little heart.

Sorry, but theres a lot wrong here. Players wanting to ENJOY themselves in-game is not the issue either.

Playing the game hsould be fun, but 90% of you never reach the point where you can barely progress your character gear wise because you'd have to win the lottery 7x for an upgrade.

Or youd have to sell 1000 rares for 1-10c for an upgrade.

Hows that fun? Why can't I play, and have a semi ok chance at finding something nice? Why do I have to use 3 different websites and spam trade chat for half of the time I have to play to find some loot?

GGG should implement a time-based reward system:

100 hrs played:

You earn 100 Chromatic Orbs

250 hrs played:

You earn 100 Chaos Orbs

500 hrs played:

You earn 100 Exalted Orbs

1000 hrs played:

You earn a perfectly rolled unique of your choice

2000 hrs played:

You can start a character at level 100, with a item of choice perfectly rolled in each gear slot

These rewards, of course, would be achievable more than once. e.g. for every 100 hours you play, you are awarded 100 Chromatic Orbs

trading, gambling, economy - nice monster slaying game this one turned into..

if you traders are so good at it play with other same-minded traders/economy freaks. it is called stock market. you will not? why.. oh, because you are afraid that playing on the level field will not be so satisfying as scamming noobs 20fusings:1chaos or wtb your 8chances:1chaos? most savvy traders are so savvy in poe/d3 because they are the only ones who care about 'trading'. no competition, huge margins, eagles of wall street. and no risk involved.

traders, you make your fortunes on noobs and noobs alone. 'trading' is a polite word for that.

sadly this game is all about trading, gambling and economy with a bit of very fun and entertaining monster slaying mini-game. sad part that the proportions are 99%/1% not the other way around

Do you have a issue with richer players then you or something.

Almost everyone that trades just puts up items on a forum post and let people come to them and sell for 1-5 chaos. Sometimes they get lucky and sell a bigger ticket item and work their up to top tier items and some of them have them drop.

Also why would earning real life money be less important thing "scamming noobs" in a arpg.

i dont care about richer players (majority of them i know from jsp and they havent got their wealth legit, tho). im quite well of irl and dont care about stuff like this.

what i care is that centering entire hack-n-slash game around market, trends, economy is just.. im lost for words how stupid it is. axing one of the amazing prospects (crafting) because 'of economy' and turning it into slot machine deserves game-development Darwin Prize equivalent! That thing had IMPRESSIVE potential. all axed because 'but oh my oh my oh my what if people could craft quite good gear in finite time! doom! impeding doom!'

and if you think that trading 1-5 chaos items few times a day you can get to 10mirrors or 300 exalts you are so incredibly naive.. you get money a) from lucky mirror/shav/soultaker drop b) from rmt/jsp c) from repeated, purposeful, deliberate and large scale scamming of noobs. currency exchange rates, flipping tabulas, previously gcp:chaos 1:(3)2 rotation etc. getting 2 more chances from chance:chaos seems a little but then multiply it by 1000

Mores lies, more putting words in whiner's mouth. I am a whiner who a) feels that killing stuff should be comparable to trading in wealth generation (lets say 1:100 in time spent), and b) 1000 hours should net you more than a lousy t-shirt.

Please stop this "want a Shav after 10 minutes playtime". Nobody says this and you know it.

But you are correct in that this is a traders game, and that the game is balanced around trading. That is the reason I stopped playing a good while ago. For some annoying reason I do really like this game though. That's why I stay around whining in forums hoping for change.

Killing stuff is comparable to trading, you should probably read with more concentration before calling someone a liar.

People are concentrated on top tier uniques only as a good drops, and I quote myself from which you've quoted me:

"2.
players that vendor nice items or underprice their items at sale"

The b) part is something I really don't get.

Yes, people actually feel they deserve Shavs, Soul Taker, etc. for having 500 Dominus runs. Unbelieveable.

This may be a shocker but the game ends after level 80, and unless your expecting for something to drop that is better then BoR and something after that every x amount of hours your going to be extremely dispointed.

This is what the issue is.

The standard you are using is 10 mirrors or 300 exalts?

Dafaq are you exceptions in this game.

Well, you traded for them, so these items are dropping. Just not for you. Better luck next time.
Look, man. Video games are hard, okay?
Ok Rag, so the game stops at level 80?

So theres no more levels after level 80?

Can I not allocate skill points after level 80?

I ENJOY grinding, maybe the game for you ends at level 80, I plan on taking a character to level 100.

The game for me ends when all the fun is gone or when I have completed everything the devs have put in game, this INCLUDES levels.

Please Post your dom/nemesis character and gear please

Better luck next time for what frog man? Im sure I have better gear than you do and thats only in 3-4 weeks try time, the problem is I want to find my own shit. Not try and trade for 4 out of the 6 hours I can play and so on.
