Bad loot - a response

Definitely agree with this topic. In all my months of doing piety I never got any GG items and yet I've managed to make 30+ Exalts in nemesis.

I've done this setting up a 1 chaos shop and another shop that simply dumps the rest of my items for indexer. It's really no effort at all. Occasionally I find something worth 10-20 chaos or even an upgrade for my characters which is also great. I don't even play a massive amount compared to some so I can see others getting far more items.

People complaining keep mentioning shavronnes,volx and kaoms as if everyone should be able to get one. If the drop rate was that high there would be nothing valuable in PoE beyond perfect rares.

I've been playing Domination league since about a week after it started.
I have characters at levels 83, 76, 74, 72, 66 and a couple of 'lowbies'.
In this time, I have found 0 eternals, 1 exalted and two divines.
I have not dropped a single unique worth over an ex.
I hate trading so seldom do, other than currency exchange and buying uniques at fixed prices (I cba haggling over rare item values), and I barely ever sell anything (or try to).
I will never RMT.

But my characters are still geared adequately, including a couple of 6L's, etc.
All those "nickels and dimes" add up.

"No loot" complaints are a L2P issue, except on very rare occasions.

Me too i made 10+ exalt worth of equip/currency by vendoring trash rares, selling low uniques and "sellable" rares. Ofc sometimes you get lucky and find something worth 10+ chaoses like these beauties:




I have 2 characters above level 80 and one at 75 now; all adequately equipped and map ready.

All players complaining about "crap loot" are players that don't even bother try selling low-mid rare items and can't price an item.

Usually, it takes me the time to ID and item and read the stats to know his value... also the chaos orb recipe help a load while Piety farming

Complains that I have seen was about drops of currency amnd crap uniques on high lvl maps, and I totally agree.

I vendored so much rares that you sell for 1-10 chaos or more, I keep only the best of rares because I dont want to spend my time endless trading, I dont like to trade, most of uniques I found I gave free to newbies ( low lvl uniques or for 40-60 lvl but the ones that seems crappy to me ) I want to craft myself, I want to find loot myself, so I'd like to see more orbs dropped.

As for uniques. In every game I have played unique is was like *Oh my God! Oh my f... God! Unique! I have found a unique!* Because unique must be powerfull. So I want to see a nice uniques to find in maps. Let the low lvl uniques to be dropped in low lvl areas. In high lvl map I want to see a good unique dropped. It would be better to see no uniques on map instead of crap ones. Because if see a unique is dropped my thoughts* Ah, another crappy one* I want to be exited to see a unique dropped on maps with *OMFG its a unique!* thoughts.

Lower chances to drop a unique on maps but let to drop always high lvl uniques.

i vendor anything lower than 1 ex because trading is no fun at all.

dat boots? i would vendor them. plenty of unique boots are better. rainbows/wondertrap ...

Complaints. There will always be complaints. Trying to convince the world to stop complaining is futile. Best thing to do is ignore them.

You're the one who is losing out. All you have to do is dump your items in one topic. I never post in tradechat.

Your choice, of course.

I myself vendor everything under 10 chaos worth, because I don't want to break my map runs for that amount.


But if you complain about drops and vendor everything except 3+ ex worth of items, there is nothing to discuss further.
