I'd really like to see how you get those numbers as they are the highest I've ever heard and I'm not quite sure I believe them.

Obviously he's a Real Scotsman, the rest of us are just wanna-be's.
i'll tell my own story here since ive seen good arguments here and there in the thread from both sides...

i play this game since it went open beta... on and off to be fair 3 months playing, 1 month of smt else...

now i never was really rich in the game, untill one day i had enough of it and i rolled this sporker build everyone cried about. Needless to say i got filthy rich in less then two weeks (after those two weeks, sporker got nerfed and game went official and all that)

So there i was with enough currency to roll any build i could like, tried like 4, wasted alot of currency up untill the point i ragequit the game after a fail attempt of 6 linking my marohi and going completely broke on it (yes i know i should have bought the 6L and not try it myself but i wanted to be the cheapass :))

The ragequit thread can still be found in my post history if someone wants to read the tears.

Anyway after two weeks of paragon farming on D3 (crypt runs arent as painfull as act 3 spam)

i decided to come back and play domination league.

Found myself a decent guide to a build and modified it to my needs as i went on...

and then the game literally started shitting rainbows on me... killed normal piety and got the unique MF flask... so i felt good knowing that i would get a BoR as soon as i got 67

bought the BoR and starting building a map pool with piety runs.

2nd day i log after doing some trades and chitchatting on TS with guildies i went to Piety, and see a BoR drop.. a small upgrade on mine so was really happy obviously. Sold the old one and bought some maps.

Three days after i was abit bored and in between trades so decided to run piety fast again and hell yeah another BoR drops and again an upgrade on the one i had.

feeling pretty good about all that i just went on farming maps. Untill same scenario pulled off again, bored, between trades, ran to piety and no one actually believed me on TS untill i linked it....

i have 0/0 IIR/IIQ and just bought myself a

and now here is where it actually becomes unbelievable for me even... on my way to piety to see how fast i kill her with my newly gain weapon... everything goes well get a divine before piety portal, kill piety and hell ye BoR #4 was lying on the ground. I think my guild called me all names under the sun for about 30 mins and i kept on laughing.

NO RMT, no botting, no trading 24/7

RNGezus finally thought it was my time. and after 10 months of nothing it was warmly welcomed.

So for all of you out there praying to RNGezus, keep praying... it will come as soon as u stop caring about the big loots and just play with a build u like to play and preferably can farm fast with :)

biggest tip i can give is: STOP looking for those shavs, bors, soul takers and koams... ID loot and sell stuff in your forumshop with buyouts, because thats how i got the last 15 exalts to my soul taker.

Oh, so trading is an effective way to get gear, and we should not expect to get gear by actually playing the game.

Thank you sir.

Stones, glass houses and all that. It seems clear you didn't understand the point of his post.

Trade is the only effective way to gear, and one should not expect to upgrade via farming or "crafting." If you play flipmode/tradecore, you'll gear up exponentially faster. That's not an argument; that's a statement of fact.

In a trade-centered game, working as intended.

Here here ! seconded.

Couldn't agree more.

Right on the money.

I concur.

Trade game is trade game. For those of us that don't trade, too bad. =P

I have been here for a while, I love the fact that all of the points I brought up years ago, and got bashed for , are the main topics today, daily on these forums. Maybe I wasnt a troll after all HUH? Not like I know any of these people posting the exact same shit I have been posting.......l.....

GGG has killed there own game, Its a good game, BUT listen good, they ruined it by trying to force people to play the game they wanted it played. Trading just happened in D2, the game wasnt designed around it. Alt f4 in D2, the game wasnt designed around it.

People that wanted to trade in d2 traded, GGG is trying to force it. Honestly this needs to blow up in there face.
