" You will be dissapointed m8. Start looking for new game right away. Save some time. Life is short. Srsly. If selffound/solo drops and real gear crafting is what you looking for i recommend any other HnS not POE. POE its not a real HnS like D2 or TQ, its tradesim game with items and monsters attached... like D3. Diablo 3? Meh! Last edited by CptKabraxis#4011 on Jan 8, 2014, 5:55:39 PM

" What do you mean? I saw people started to discuss trading but I didnt want to read anything more and wrote my opinion here. If I dont reply to you - I dont give a flying duck about your opinion
If you dont reply to me - I dont care either because I dont come back to see who replied to me |

" TLDR; "Put "decent rares in a shop", preferable with ~b/o tags. If someone whisper to you while you farm, take a break to make the trade, then back to farm." |

" If you find something "hard" about this game you are doing something wrong. Loot drops are not an easy/hard thing. They are a boring/not boring thing. Anarchy/Onslaught T shirt

" Me too. I want rare mobs make me think twice whether to attack them with an untwinked char or not. I want more rogue exiles and much tougher unique bosses and I want them to drop something where I see a proper risk-reward ratio. I want maps to be inherently much harder and the highest-level maps impossible to beat unless you have great gear throughout. What I don't want is a lame grinder where rare mobs are pushovers no matter where or when and who routinely drop 1-2 pieces of white trash unless you stack MF. I don't want rogue exiles to be the only exciting thing to fight and then drop me half a dozen blues and 1 or 2 token rares. I don't want endless grinding, only to have to sell stuff in the end, so that I can buy stuff. |

So far I've just done self-found, and I've enjoyed it. It's nice to know there's a potential wealth of highly-unlikely awesome gear drops out there, but I haven't needed to buy anything yet.
I only have Dominus left in Merciless (Domination), and the difficulty has been a welcome challenge. It's fun to consider each monster's capabilities, use the terrain, lure away splinters of mobs, and generally think about what I'm doing as opposed to just being able to rush in and mindlessly kill everything. Playing self-found on Merciless reminds me of the sheer terror of Gothic 1 and 2 (probably my favorite single-player RPGs), or of time spent lurking in the hallways of Might and Magic, scared to jump into the next room packed with a deadly mob. (Anyone remember the mobs of Eyes? Yikes!) And may the mods be ever in your favor.

" Never said, "It was hard". Was saying I don't want it easier then what it is now, I do want the game to become hard as possible, then what it is now. Harder the better IMO!(^_^) Last edited by DragonsBIood#2218 on Jan 8, 2014, 8:35:24 PM

Could try playing blindfolded or with one arm tied behind your back or cutting of some fingers, all those things can increase difficulty by a slight margin.
