Allright, so when I looked up this build few months ago, Im pretty sure he did take Acrobatics, what happened that he doesnt take it now? Think its pretty necessary for hc/invasion or?

He started using Lightning Coil

Im sorry but what difference would this item make? Im really confused now if I can just skip Acrobatics+Phase Acrobatics on invasion or not :/

i.e. if i have 40% dodge from gear, do I jump to 70% or to 40*1.3=52% ?

Neither, it's separate mechanism that is independent and is not entropy based like Evasion.

I currently have 34% with an old-ish chestpiece and an improvable shield, 40% is out of the question but maybe 38% is.

not doable with lightning coil, obviously :P
