Even if GGG raised the drop rates significantly (which I doubt they would), the game would STILL be more difficult that it is right now where you can just trade for whatever you want at the drop of a hat.

What is the official number of people needed for it to be a problem?

Personally I would say since it is GGG's game, and they have designed it with multiplayer trading in mind, that it isn't a problem because they say it isn't a problem.

You people only beat the self found drum because you want to trivialize the content and then proclaim the game is too boring, too easy etc. It is the same crowd.

If instead of harboring so much envy over pixels, you simply played the game as intended, maybe you would learn to enjoy it for what it is?

Here's something new. Envy over pixels? WTF does this have to do with anything? Was somebody saying that the game is too hard right now with all of the trading and thats why they want a SFL? I can guarantee you that the difficulty of PoE has absolutely nothing to do with why I am interested in playing a SFL.

Welp, good news. There are two permanent leagues where you can currently play self found for eternity until you craft the right gear, or get the right drop.

This self found thread will die off just like the last one in open beta.

Trading and partying already trivializes the game, to a point no SFL ever could.

Shoppers hatin' SFL because it would make the game actually harder... no instant gratification trading anymore.

Anyway dont worry man, GGG is against a SFL because they are afraid casual shoppers will run away screaming.

Honestly I am probably the most self found in this thread. I traded for a crappy 5 link so far in nemesis. I also plah solo.

Regardless, the self found option is available, people just don't want to do it. They want instant gratification through improved drops.

Just play the game.

B) - Vote! ie: I am STRONGLY in favor of SFL, wouldn't mind having it put if the price /delay is reasonable; ie: Can wait for perfect content/fix any bugs/rework dev.

BUT with buffs life/es and increase drop rate: items, uniques, gems, orbs/currency, DROP RATE FOR MAPS, etc. (not slightly, but a lot); increase 6S/6l linking/socketing; increase max passive skill points (not 120, but 180-220); increase exp gain for gems; increase iir/iiq from rare/unique mobs; reduced mana reserve for all aura; slightly increased all support gems.

That's when it will make sense in the new league (Self Found League - SFL).
No trading, but inc drop for selfcraft etc.

The true is TRADING MORE EASY THEN CRAFT! Crafting even with inc drop still VERY HARD. Only some easy specific builds can do fine with random no good vendor items and still playing, NOT ALL.

So inc drop and other with buffs in NO WAY TRADING league will fine, and who dont want - J U S T ! D O N T ! P L A Y !

Every trade you have ever made was instant gratification. There's nothing instant about having to wait for RNG to give you everything you need.

The drop rate you guys are picturing must be cartoonishly absurd.
