" exception to no discuss rule; I'm afraid that whole idea would fail miserably if you could "give your buddy some piece" because effectively, you could trade then freely only with lot more of scamming etc (you drop armor other guy drops some orbs ... people would find a way to trade, I assure you) In this case and IMHO it must be all or nothing. All trade or absolutely no trade at all. Besides, what about your buddy, why should he have it easy? Let him play the game and find his own shit, just like anybody else. Is it such bad thing? " Yes, you could conceivably cheat. You can get around this by forcing permanent allocation for pubs and have party registration of some sort. Oh and I'd like a SFL without shared stash, too. It's not about my buddy having it easy, it's about interaction, we are a team with dynamics, it's also why I hate non-ffa loot and find it distancing in the game. |

" because 'interaction' with human 'residue' is so fun? because 'trading' chores are so engaging? or maybe because i like to play in parties with average age < 13 ? human to human relations are very fun and needed in real life (and this does not include fb nor twitter!). but in games having fun factor rely on some dolts is something that i try to avoid btw - dont want to play it? go away and play "h'alt-f4-core" - league that also exists 'for no reason' because you can play it already in standard and simply delete your character, cant you? |

Without an increase in drop rates (which would never happen), the league would be extremely niche because it would be frustrating for most people since the drop rates are balanced around trading. No need to waste time on this for the handful of people who would play it. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" You might not understand what im trying to say. You dont need a SFL, go play self found with no human interaction and turn all chats off and play solo. Nobody stops you and everyone else who wants to play self found. Or do you people really think the drop rate should be buffed in such a league so you are done with the game in a few weeks? Because then a SFL would kill the fun in no time. Also, maybe its possible to do SFL with paid leagues. |
