1.0.2 Microtransaction Videos and Damage Over Time Changes

Really curious to see if there's double-dipping on Puncture, as generic 'more damage' (e.g. from Trap/Mine support) causes it to hit harder, increasing the base bleed damage, but then that could be multiplied again since bleed is a damage over time effect. Generic physical damage passives (and projectile damage passives if a bow is used?) could also get a double benefit. Not sure how Point Blank interacts with all this either.

point blank blank to my understanding of the wiki definition increases projectile attack damage. so if this is the case, it will only apply to the hit, not the dot. thats my understanding of it at least.

so far the only nice PB builds ive seen involve split arrow, lmp la at close range, and slower projectiles on spectral throw.

certainly viable tho, if you wanna get up close and personal or stick it on mines as PB is in relation to distance traveled so it fits nicely with triggering a mine underneath an enemy.

Spectre: Burning miscreants (BM's) are a popular summon, are these (and other monsters with DoT's like chaos degen bears) going to have some sort of scaling so that heavily supported spectres don't instantly vaporize everything on screen?

not directly, although if the DoT is based on the damage a skill inflicts (like burning damage) then indirectly yes. DoT's can't crit afterall.
does projectile dmg nodes will also boost puncture ?
