You would NEVER get a response from a Blizzard Dev when Diablo 3 was released.
Are they just now starting to come out of their cave?

I dont know about LoL's interactions. I can't stand that game.
But GGG posts, and interacts. Click the little icon next to a post and you can see all of the GGG employee's posts in that thread. Easy as pie.

The interaction is still abysmal compared to other games, people claiming GGG has the BEST communication between developer and player clearly haven't journeyed into other popular games.
Given those other companies are much bigger than GGG, they have much more manpower. League of Legends by far has the biggest backing of any company, more than Blizzard ever will. Maybe GGG should hire some PR people.

The post of about how GGG let's people bash them on their forums and they do nothing bugs me. To me, it shows that they don't really care what we think and just do what they want.

I think its time to ask for specifics. Which games do you think communicate so much better than GGG? I have been gaimg since the 90s and while there are many who are on par with GGG's communication I wonder what games you played that when you compare the two GGG looks abysmal. Basically I think your full of shit and and am calling you out.

If you actually read a few posts above I already stated. I guess I'll do it again.
Diablo 3: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/blizztracker/
League of Legends: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/devtracker.php?g=Riot
So if you actually go through the posts there's actually interaction between developer and player and not just, Hey this is what we are doing or OOPs we messed up and this is how we are fixing it.
Edit: Now I guess I'll call you out. Link me to any thread where a Developer has a real interaction with a player about the game that's not bug related. Something that's not an announcement or news.

what I've been reading on the forums/reddit, GGG is that friend. They might be the masters of coding and/or gaming but so far they have shown ZERO customer/public relation skills..

Stoped reading there

Blizzard is a much larger company than Riot just so ya know...
I have a lot of posts on the Blizzard forums. I've heard the riot forums are awful. I post a lot on Paradox's forums, I post on Marvel Heroes' forums. I post on the Grim Dawn forums. I post in Trendy's forums, and I visit many other ARPG and RTS game forums.

Out of all the forums that I visit, GGG does the best job. Marvel Heroes is close. I realize that this is my opinion and all, but it's based on the frequency and quality of communication.

I can't really defend my opinion any more than that. If you think Riot does a better job, then maybe they do. I do not know... But as far as ARPG forums? I think GGG does a fantastic job with their communication.

Tencent actually owns Roit, last time I checked it was the 3rd biggest internet company. It's the Chinese social media company. They back League for 800 Million when it first started.

The other big ARPG is Diablo 3 and the dominate RTS is Starcraft both owned by Blizzard. They clearly do a better job but that's maybe because they have way more manpower. Communication to me is a back and forth conversation, one I have not seen on these forums or reddit.

Look through the posts and say again that there is no interaction with the community.

You should use this from time to time

Blizzard is awful at communicating with their customers...
I really don't know why you think they are better than GGG.

Riot was purchased for 400 million.
Blizzard was purchased for 5.83 Billion.

Take that for whatever you want... That's why I view Blizzard as larger :-/

Thanks, didn't know about that website.

Well its to good to see some people actually answering questions. They all seem to be the the Help sections of the forums, well the lesser viewed subsections. I still would like to see them address the BIG issues the plague this game. Still haven't found one.

People think that General Discussion will get their stuff more views. This may be true for Players, but not for devs. Devs are looking in the sections where usefull stuff IS SUPPOSED TO be posted.

Art and effect feedback. Skill Questions, Gameplay help etc.

Of course they look into General Discusion from time to time but it takes ages to go through all the shit in that sub-forum and find something that is easy and fast to answer.

We are talking here about the guys that take time out of actually making the game to talk to the community. Not like blizzard that have extra staff for community interaction.

You might want to look up Tencent Holdings, its annual income is 10 times of Activision Blizzard.

I'm browsing all their posts but they all still avoid the major topics like desync and the nerfs, that's my main problem. Also the vague Patch Notes we get every patch. A few extra lines in there or a couple extra minutes in the Patch Video explaining some stuff would save the forums a lot of QQ'ing.

I did mate... I still think that Blizzard is larger than Riot. I don't really care about their parent company.
