Yeah, big skill tree, right, with 90% of those nodes being totally ignored either because their are useless or give less bonuses than others.


As of right now, you could strip, at least, half the nodes from the skill tree and nobody would miss them. But I have the solution, add MOAR nodes, because it's eye candy, because size MATTERS!

Edit: yeah, I'm bored, probably going to sleep now, then level up ma midget dueslist tomorrow.

Just a bad comparison. I quit League 2 years ago after playing competitively for curse for the sole reason that they micromanage the metagame to such an extreme degree. They have never let a trend go to the end of its life cycle, never let a champion phase out of popularity naturally, never let the players just play the same game for months and see what happens.

It's the overbalancing that ruined that game for me.

It seems like only 10 or 15 people even post here, always the same fucking people in every thread, GGG defense force. Gets old. They band together and try and take over every thread.

I wish there was a Like post option on these forums!

Personally I find the communication to be fine.

GGG do a phat thang of communication, and they ain't no stoppin cause they be still poppin'. Da problems you rap bout aren't caused by a lack of fancy lyrics or bein short. They persist cuz they aren't what tha fuck tha crew wants ta hear, n' you can put dat on yo' toast.

Not mah playas need ta be spoon fed every last muthafuckin last mechanical detail of tha chizzlez every time they donwlizzle a freshly smoked up Patch Notes. For nuff playas, tha details would be spoilaz n' fuck up half tha possibilitizzles. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch.


(this post is not intended to provoke or belittle the OP - it is meant to show that communication isn't just about style, it is about content. GGG could deliver all their patch notes in elaborate detail, but it wouldn't stop the mass QQ'ing, as most of this is caused by players who throw a tantrum about anything. )

All that said, recently all companies have been becoming distant with their player base. This twitter and Facebook phenomenon has removed any sort of personal communication (ironically). Everything is not just a tweet or a post of Facebook. It's easy for them because there is no accountability. They don't have to be responsible to actually answer actual fans concerns.

Ideally, each week, one dev from GGG would take the top talked about ideas on the forums and openly write a post about it to the fan-base. It would help so much to see what and why devs were nerfing certain skills or buffing others. Even if we didn't like the change, at least we could start to see where the devs were coming from.
